The Peruvian Pisco Sour is a mix of pisco brandy at its base (check Pisco no. 2 on drinks), with a mix of lime juice, syrup, egg white, and Angostura bitters. This drink can be served with or without ice, and has a mix taste of sweetness with a little tartness.

Uvachado is a an exotic Peruvian drink soaked in cane brandy or Cañazo for a few months, added with honey. Uvachado is a popular drink in Tarapoto and big parts of the Peruvian’s San Martin region.

It is highly recommended to consume this drink in moderation because of its high alcohol content and suppsedly aphrodisiac effects. It is usually served in festivals.

24. CHUCHUHUASI

This exotic Peruvian drink can be found in the Amazon and is made from mixing 7 different roots and barks mixed together: cat’s claw, fierro caspo, chuchuhuasi, murare, icoja, cumaceba and sangre de grado. These are soaked with cañazo for a couple of months, and then also sweetened with honey.

7 raices, in addition for it being an exotic Peruvian drink from the Amazon, is also popular for its medicinal benefits. It’s common medicine for flu, but the use needs to be very regulaed, because it has high energetic components and also considered an aphrodisiac.
