BEST TIME TO VISIT SIQUIJOR
The best time to visit beaches in Siquijor is around November to May as these are the driest months here. Siquijor’s low season falls on June so you might want to book your trip at this time to catch deals and promos from hotels.
Just be wary of weather disturbances since this is already the rainy season in the Philippines.

Best Beach in Siquijor
1. PALITON BEACH
Paliton Beach is our favorite beach in Siquijor Island. Paliton Beach is very beautiful with stretches of white sand and crystal clear blue waters. You can definitely enjoy snorkeling here. It’s actually a hidden beach and not everyone knows about Paliton Beach in the area of San Juan when we were visiting.
Nowdays Paliton Beach became so popular but still is not crowded and there is no entrance fee to go to Paliton Beach.

Siquijor Beaches San Juan Area
2. SAN JUAN BEACH
San Juan Beach was really quiet and the colors of the island were stunning! It´s perfect for snorkeling especially if you own your own gear and it’s really a great place to take underwater shots, too.
This shore is quite long and you will find some spots with hardly any people around. There is no entrance fee in San Juan Beach since is a public beach.
3. SOLANGON BEACH
Solangon Beach is located in San Juan very close to Paliton Beach. There is no entrance fee for Solangon Beach you can swim and walk around. It’s full of resorts and especially great for the sunset.

4. TUBOD MARINE SANCTUARY
Tubod Marine Sanctuary is just in front of Coco Grove Resort located just next to San Juan Beach. You can take your own snorkeling gear or rent one, and you’re sure to have an amazing time. The access to the beach has no entrance fee since its public. There are many fishes and we had so much fun. Kids have free entrance!
We are always bringing our own snorkeling mask and we recommend you to do the same while traveling in the Philippines since you can do snorkeling almost everywhere. Tubod Marine Sanctuary has an entrance fee of 50 PHP.
Beaches in Siquijor Town
5. Candanay Sur
Candanay Sur Beach is located near Siquijor Port. It’s a perfect place for swimming and snorkeling. There is no entrance fee at Candanay Sur Beach. If you are around Siquijor town you can go walking or renting a tricycle. The best way is renting a motorbike around 400 PHP per day and you can visit a few beaches in Siquijor.
Siquijor Beaches Larena Area
6. TULAPOS MARINE SANCTUARY
Tulapos Marine Sanctuary is located 10 kilometers far from Larena Port. Tulapos Marine Sanctuary is the oldest one in Siquijor Island. You can see turtles, giant clams, and even reef sharks. Tulapos Marine Sanctuary entrance fee is 300 PHP included the guide and the snorkeling mask.
7. Sandugan Beach
Sandugan Beach is located at Larena. Make sure that you visit Sandugan Beach with the high tide since with the low tide will be hard to swim and you will find sand everywhere. There are mangroves if you want to explore around the area. There is no entrance fee at Sandugan Beach.

8. SALAGDOONG BEACH
Salagdoong Beach has two gorgeous beaches where you can go swimming and even practice cliff jumping and one of them is Salagdoong Beach. The water is so beautiful and we took nice shots with our drone and enjoyed a nice swim too.
9. KAGUSUAN BEACH
Kagusuan Beach is located in Maria Poblacion. It’s far away from San Juan you will have to hire a motorbike or rent a tricycle. You will find the beach for yourself. It’s not touristy and there are rock formations.
Lazi Area
10. Sabas Beach
Sabas Beach is located in Lazi close to Cambugahay Falls. It’s an ideal one in Siquijor beaches for swimming and snorkeling. You can even stay at Sabas Beach and Campsite where you will find cottages to stay overnight. There is no entrance fee at Sabas Beach.
Where to Stay in Siquijor
A nice room in a budget hotel can go from 800-1,000 PHP while some resorts offer spacious rooms for around 2,000 PHP per day. You can get Airbnb places for 1000 PHP.

Lagkaw sa Sawang Homestay
We stayed at Lagkaw sa Sawang Homestay. The place is quiet, peaceful and has all the comfort you’ll need. It´s perfect for backpackers. Your cottage costs 750 PHP per day which is just around $15 USD.
The homestay comes with some clean towels, kitchen with plates and cutlery, and a water heater for tea, coffee or noodles. Everything was very clean and prepared with care.
It is also very relaxing to chill outside the cottages. There are tables, a hammock, and palm trees all around. So beautiful! It’s a 10 minutes away from the beach on foot but you can always rent a motorbike so you can move around the island from your resort.

BERMUDA TRIANGLE BUNGALOWS
This place on or list of where to stay in Siquijor is famous because of the interior design of its rooms. It features a nice, cozy design that seems like a bungalow, where it got its name. It also offers beautiful views to the sea as it is just right on the beach.
Their rooms are all air conditioned with a king bed, TV, attached bathroom, Wifi connection, and some appliances to make your stay even more convenient. They don’t serve breakfast but there’s a restaurant called Baha Bar where you can dine. The guests loved the room’s style and the proximity to the beach and establishments, as well as what they call the outdoor bathroom!
