Best time to visit Manila

Philippines has only 2 seasons- wet and dry season. You should be prepared with the weather in Manila because it is hot and humid during the months of March to May, and can extend up to June!

The wet season starts from June to November and rainy season can start as early as May.

We recommend that you visit Manila during the month of January, as the weather is expected to be the coldest of the year plus you won’t compete with the locals during December’s holiday rush.

Coron to Manila

How to get from Coron to Manila by Ferry

You can also take a ferry to get to Coron from Manila. The ferry is leaving on Sunday at 6 pm from Coron to Manila getting there at 9 am. Coron to Manila ferry fare is 2300 PHP. It will take 15 hours but it will be cheaper than the plane. The ferry will be getting to Pier 4 in North Harbor in Tondo, Manila.

There are other companies J.V. Serrano Shipping Lines and Atienza Shipping Lines that offer services other days of the week with different schedule but it’s changing depending of the season.

Coron to Manila Flight

If you want to get from Coron to Manila by flight will be the easiest option. There are a few daily flights with Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific and SkyJet from Coron to Manila.

It will take 1 hour and 20 minutes going from Coron to Manila by plane. The price for the flight is around 3500-5000 PHP.

BUSUANGA AIRPORT TO CORON

Francisco B. Reyes airport in Busuanga is only 40 minutes ride to Coron town. To get from Busuanga Airport to Coron town from you have to go by van and it costs 150 PHP per person.

Coron to Manila Flight or Ferry

We have never tried going from Coron to Manila by ferry. The flight is more comfortable and it takes less time. There are a few and if you book in advance (30-40 days) it will be more affordable.

I tried once the ferry Manila to Cebu 24 hours. It was so comfortable and they include meals. So if you go on a budget Coron to Manila by ferry will be your best option.
