The cheapest way from San Gil to Barichara is by bus. You will have to get take the Cotrasangil Bus at the Terminal and you will get to Barichara town. Once in Barichara if you are staying outside the town you can ride tuk tuk around 10K COP which is $2.5 USD for 4 kilometers ride.

WALKING AROUND BARICHARA
Walking around Barichara streets is so beautiful. Barichara is a small town and you can go within walking distance everywhere in 10-15 minutes. Barichara is so picturesque and we loved it taking pictures. It feels so calm and relaxed!
BARICHARA VIEWPOINT
To get to Barichara viewpoint you will have to walk 10 minutes outside the main square. You can ask locals but it’s easy to get there. On the way to the Barichara viewpoint, you will find beautiful and colorful streets too.
WHERE TO EAT IN BARICHARA
DONDE NAKUS
Donde Nakus Restaurant in Barichara was our favorite one. We loved the Almuerzo in Nakus Restaurant (complete and delicious). You can find a great lunch 15000 COP per person which is less than $4 USD with juice, soup and dessert. Friendly staff and great service!
COFFEE AND CAKE
Coffee and cake around Barichara are so popular and we loved them so much. Local coffee shops with affordable prices, tasty coffee and yummy desserts.
