How To Get From Bali Airport to Nusa Dua
Distance from Bali Airport to Nusa Dua
Nusa Dua is located 20 kilometers from Denpasar. If you are coming from the Ngurah Rai International Airport , it will take you 30-40 minutes to reach Nusa Dua. You can get a taxi from the airport, though they can be a bit expensive.
We recommend you use Grab, Blue Bird or Go Jek to move around Bali instead. You can even rent your own scooter if you are traveling light!
How to get to from Bali Airport to Nusa Dua
If you want to get from Bali airport to Nusa Dua expect to pay around 100K IDR if you use Grab, Go Jek or even Blue Bird Taxi. It’s not an exact amount. But for sure it would be cheaper than a taxi.
You have to add the new toll road going from the airport to Nusa Dua. The total travel time will be around 20 minutes driving from the airport depending where you go exactly in Nusa Dua.

How to get from Nusa Dua to Ubud
If you want to get from Nusa Dua to Ubud. We did this way to get to Nusa Dua from Ubud by Grab. We booked using the app and it costed us around 380K IDR included the toll road which was 40K IDR extra.
It was hard to find transportation from Ubud and official prices from taxis were starting from 400-500K IDR plus the toll road. The travel time is around 1 hour and 15 minutes or it can be longer if there is traffic.
How to get to from Nusa Dua to Seminyak
If you go to get from Nusa Dua to Seminyak by Grab or Go Jek expect to pay around 250K IDR for 45 minutes to an hour travel time. If you are coming from Seminyak prices will be around 200K IDR.
How to get from Nusa Dua to Ulluwatu
If you want to get from Ulluwatu to Nusa Dua for 20 minutes driving will cost around 120-150K IDR with Blue Bird, Grab or Go Jek.
Transportation Around Nusa Dua
You can use Go Jek or Grab, though the service is not as reliable compared to major cities. Another option is using Blue Bird Taxis as we did moving around Nusa Dua. Average for 5 kilometers is around 45K IDR it means $3 USD just make sure that they are driving you with the taximeter on!
However, as it is a scenic island destination, you can always rent a motorbike to go around Nusa Dua. This can be availed for less than $5-6 USD.
Where to Stay in Nusa Dua
If you want to treat yourself, we totally recommend Samabe Bali Suites & Villas. The staff, the food and the place was truly amazing. This is probably one of the best place we’ve ever stayed in Bali. Why take your food in the breakfast hall when you can eat in your own pool?
We had our own villa with a really nice pool. You can also just go downstairs and enjoy lovely views of the beach. Take a look at these shots which I believe are nice enough to make you want to book a stay there ASAP! There are excellent views from the cliff, the cave in the beach was gorgeous, and you can also do activities like kayaking or snorkeling during the day. The beach is so serene, perfect for relaxing and spending time with loved ones.
Food to try in Nusa Dua
The food at Samabe Bali Suites & Villas was awesome and we tried Indonesian and Thai choices at Rempah Rempah Restaurant! The taste was great and the service too. We totally recommend you to relax in Nusa Dua are and enjoy eating and relaxing.
