HOW TO GET FROM MANILA TO SORSOGON
BY PLANE FROM MANILA TO SORSOGON (BEST WAY)
The best way from Manila to Sorsogon is by plane. It will be the most comfortable way. You have to ride a plane to Legazpi airport.
Once in the airport get a tricycle to the Bus Terminal where you can get a bus or a van going to Sorsogon. Buses and vans are leaving every 15-30 minutes during the day. Prices are around $3 USD and it will take 2 hours.
BUS AND VAN FROM LEGAZPI TO SORSOGON
Tricycles go from Legazpi Airport to Legazpi Bus Terminal (check the exact location in Google Maps) for $4-5 USD and it will take 15 minutes for 4-5 kilometers distance. If you go by jeepney will cost you around $1 USD!
The vans are leaving from Legazpi Grand Terminal to Sorsogon and it will take 1 hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours and the van fare is around $3 USD. The first trip starts around 6 am when the vans get full since there is no fixed schedule.
If you get the plane 1 hour and 30 minutes, plus the airport transfer to the Bus Terminal, it can be a total of 5 hours and 30 minutes.
BY BUS FROM MANILA TO SORSOGON (CHEAPEST WAY)
The cheapest way from Manila to Sorsogon is by night bus. Daily buses leaving Manila from Edsa Cubao, Araneta Cubao, Alabang, Buendia and Pasay.

Most of the buses are from 5 pm to 10 pm leaving from Manila. The trip will take around 12-14 hours.

GETTING MORE DESTINATIONS AROUND SORSOGON
BUS FROM MANILA TO TICLAO ISLAND
If you are getting from Manila to Ticao Island. From Cubao, we took a night bus to Legazpi at 6 30 pm. It costs 760 PHP a regular bus. It takes 15 hours to reach to Legazpi. From Legazpi to Pilar Port an hour van 75 PHP each. Vans are leaving from Legazpi Bus Terminal in front of SM.
Once in Ticlao Island to move around Monreal North part and San Jacinto there are motorbikes for 150 PHP. It can fit until 2 people for that price. It takes 30-40 minutes to go from Monreal to San Jacinto.
The boats going to San Jacinto from Pilar Port leaves at 7 am and noon time. It takes 1 hour and 30 minutes. It costs 150 PHP.
From San Jacinto to Bulan a few ferries are leaving during the day last one is 1 pm. It takes one hour and a half to reach Bulan. It costs 160 PHP for adults and 80 PHP for kids.
BUS FROM BULAN TO SORSOGON
The bus from Bulan to Sorsogon costs 100 PHP and it takes 1 hour and 15 minutes to get there. To reach Bulan Bus Station you can get a tricycle from the port for 70 PHP. It’s 3.5 kilometers far.
From Sorsogon to Matnog the Southern part of Luzon by jeepney will take 1 hour and 30 minutes and it costs 90 PHP. To reach the jeepney terminal from Sorsogon Bus Station it costs 40 PHP by tricycle to ride jeepney. There are only two kilometers distance.
