Tourist Visa Extension Philippines And Visa Extension Fee Philippines

If you want to extend your visa in the Philippines. I’m not an expert, I’m just writing based on my experience and from my last visa extension in the Philippines.

I always have been doing tourist visa extension Philippines at Angeles City, where we are based here in Pampanga. The office is at Marquee Mall and the office opens from 10 am to 4 pm from Monday to Friday. Note properly, the office is closed during weekends. Before applying for a Tourist Visa extension Philippines

Make sure you wear proper clothes since it is a government office, but in Angeles City they aren´t picky about this. So for example, if you wear flip-flops, and go shirtless, it could be possible and it will not be a problem in Angeles City.

But it could be a problem in other official government offices in the Philippines and maybe they will not attend to you if your clothes aren´t appropriate!

29 Days Tourist Visa Extension Philippines And Visa Extension Fee Philippines

The tourist Visa extension fee Philippines for 29 days extension is 3150 PHP which is around $60 USD (take note is only 29 days for the extension visa). The first time that you apply for tourist visa extension Philippines is only allowed 29 days.

If you’ll choose express method, you’ll be able to get your tourist visa extension Philippines in 2-3 hours. You just need to bring your passport, no need to bring your pictures or anything else just cash for the fees.

If you want to do the regular visa and not the express one, you will save 1000 PHP=$20 USD and you’ll have to give your passport for one day. So it will be 2150 PHP which is around 40 USD.

The next day you’ll go there for the payment and be able to finally pick up your visa extension after 3 days more. To sum it up, if you chose the regular visa, it will take you 5 days, and you have to go to their office 3 times but save 1000 PHP to get a tourist visa extension in the Philippines.

I did both of them. So, it just depends on your situation, your free time and your budget (only worth it if you are so close as I was). But it’s not always allowed to do a regular extension and most of the time you will have to do with the Express Visa extension.

This is how easy to get a tourist visa extension in the Philippines for 29 days.

Note: If you are late with your visa extension, you will have to pay a penalty of 1000 PHP=$20 USD apart from the other fees!

Once you did the first tourist visa extension in the Philippines for 29 days. You will be able to make a longer tourist visa extension Philippines for 59 days.

You will have to buy The ACR-I-CARD (Alien Certificate and Registration) and its valid for 12 months. The ACR-I-CARD costs around 2800 PHP. Apart from the cost of The ACR-I-CARD you have to add the fees of a one-month visa extension that was mentioned above which is 3050 PHP. The total is 5850 PHP!

Plus if you do express or 1500 PHP (500 PHP express ACR-I-CARD) less if you are patient and go for the regular. But in my case, they didn’t give me an option so I had to pay for Express.

The total of tourist visa extension fee Philippines for 59 days is 7350 PHP which is around $130 USD. You will be able to pick The ACR-I-CARD one month after you submit your tourist visa extension.

Make sure you bring enough cash, just in case the office is far from the ATM. If you are running out of pages in your passport as it happens if you travel for a long time, good thing the stamp will be very small and not even half of the page of your passport.

Tourist Visa Extension Philippines Longer than 59 Days?

Once you keep extending your tourist visa in the Philippines. Every time that you extend the visa in the Philippines will be for 59 days and you will avoid paying The ACR-I-CARD.  The tourist visa fee Philippines for 59 days is 5850 PHP which is around $100 USD.
