If you want to get to Panglao from Manila by plane. There are daily and direct flights from Manila to Bohol-Panglao International Airport. The arrival point in Bohol is the new airport of Panglao.

Prices of the flights are around 2000-4000 PHP one way and the flight will take 1 hour and 20 minutes. You can get affordable tickets with Air Asia, Cebu Pacific and also Philippine Airlines.

If you want to get to Panglao from Manila by ferry. There are ferries going from Manila to Bohol in Tagbilaran port. But you have to be ready for a long journey around 25 hours.

How to get from Bohol Airport to Panglao (Alona Beach)

The Bohol International Airport opened on November 2018 replacing Tagbilaran International Airport. There are only domestic flights going to Bohol-Panglao International Airport. Flight companies like Philippines Airlines, Cebu Pacific, Air Asia and AIr Juan.

There are daily direct flights from Clark, Davao, Cagayan de Oro and Manila. From Cebu there are only direct flights with Air Juan otherwise you have to flight to Manila and from there you will flight to Panglao.

If you want to get from Bohol Airport to Panglao, Alona Beach. You should know there are only 3 kilometers distance from the airport to Alona Beach. But Bohol is so touristic and prices are high.

If you are getting to Alona Beach from the New Airport in Panglao by tricycle prices are 150 PHP. You can get charged 250 PHP for that distance depending on your negotiation skills.

If you are getting to Tubigon port from Cebu the fast boat ride will take 1 hour and prices are around 250 PHP. There is a slow ferry that will take 2 hours and prices are around 170 PHP. From Tubigon to Panglao there are 70 kilometers. It dpends on where are you going in Bohol you can go to Tagbilaran or Tubigon.

If you want to get to Panglao from Cebu by plane. There are direct flights with Air Juan. There are also flights going to Manila before getting to Panglao. Prices are around 2000-4000 PHP.

If you want to get to Panglao from Dumaguete. There are two daily ferries going to Panglao from Dumaguete at 9 50 am and 2 30 pm. The ferry takes 2 hours and the prices are around 700 PHP economy class.

If you want to get to Panglao from Camiguin. There is a daily ferry at 8 am it will take 4 hours to reach Jagna and the price is 425 PHP.

How to get to Panglao from Cagayan de Oro

If you want to get to Panglao from Cagayan de Oro. There are flights going to Panglao from Cagayan de Oro. It will take only 1 hour and prices are around 3000-5000 PHP. There aren’t daily flights from Cagayan de Oro to Bohol. If you’re coming from Cagayan de Oro, you can come aboard the night ferry for 570 PHP and with a travel time of 8-9 hours.

How to get to Panglao from Tagbilaran Port

Panglao Island is around 45 minutes jeepney ride from Tagbilaran. From the port, you can walk for about 15 minutes to the downtown area where jeepneys leave for Panglao. The ride costs 30 PHP. It’s a great experience to travel by jeepney.

If you decide to go by tricycle prices are around 300 PHP and the ride will take around 45 minutes. If you prefer the comfort of the taxi it will cost you around 500-800 PHP and it will take 40 minutes.

Where to Stay in Panglao

You can get a room for 800-1200 PHP if you on a budget. For mid-budget, there are rooms from 1500-4000 PHP and you can even have luxury accommodation over 5000 PHP per night around Panglao.
