WALKING AROUND BARICHARA

Walking around Barichara streets is so beautiful. Barichara is a small town and you can go within walking distance everywhere in 10-15 minutes. Barichara is so picturesque and we loved it taking pictures. It feels so calm and relaxed!

To get to Barichara viewpoint you will have to walk 10 minutes outside the main square. You can ask locals but it’s easy to get there. On the way to Barichara viewpoint you will find beautiful and colorful streets too.

Donde Nakus Restaurant in Barichara was our favorite one. We loved the Almuerzo in Nakus Restaurant (complete and delicious). You can find a great lunch 15000 COP per person which is less than $4 USD with juice, soup and dessert. Friendly staff and great service!

Coffee and cake around Barichara is so popular and we loved them so much. Local coffee shops with affordable prices, tasty coffee and yummy desserts.

You can go to Barichara any time of the year. The months of December to February are the best time to visit Barichara because is the sunniest and also the peak season. October to November is the months ideal for those working with a budget because it is considered the low season.
