BEST TIME TO VISIT KENTING

There are 4 seasons in Taiwan and we believe the best time to visit Kaohsiung is Spring and Autumn but check these details out and make your choice:

Spring: This is from March to May and it’s rainy season. It’s warm during the day and little bit cold at night.

Summer: From June to August. The weather is  very hot and humid and there are occasional thunderstorms and typhoons.

Autumn: From September to November. The weather is warm and it’s rarely will you get to experience rain.

Winter: December to February: Little bit cold at night, especially in the North of the country.

How to get from Kaohsiung to Kenting

Kaohsiung to Kenting by Bus

If you want to get from Kaohsiung to Kenting by bus. It will be the easiest and mot affordable way. Kenting Express Bus is going from Kaohsiung to Kenting. The travel time Kenting Express Bus takes 2 hours and half

Bus fare Kaohsiung to Kenting is $12 USD for one way. You can get a round trip discount for $20 USD in this link.

You can get the Kenting Express Bus at Zuoying HSR Station in the first floor on the right side in the Exit 2. Kenting Express Bus is leaving from 8 30 am to 7 pm last one. The buses are running every 15-30 minutes from Zuoying HSR Station and finishing in Xiaowan.

And from Kenting the buses starts at 8 am to 7 pm last bus. The buses are running every 15-30 minutes from Xiaowan and finishing in Zuoying HSR Station

There are a few stops from Zuoying HSR Station, Dapeng Bay, Fangliao, Checheng, Baoli, Hengchung, Nanwan and Xiaowan

Travel Tip: There are no trains available from Kaohsiung to Kenting.
