Best time to Visit Maldives Dry Season

Best tiem to visit Maldives dry season or wet season

If we talk about the perfect weather the best time to visit Maldives is from November to April when it’s the dry season. From May to October you can expect rains being the months of June and July the ones with more possibility of rain.

During those months there is almost no rain and the weather is so perfect. But the main problem with the dry season is peak season. It means luxury resorts and local islands are full and prices are higher. You have to book your accommodation in advance and it will be hard to find the best deals in Maldives.

Best time to visit Maldives Rainy Season

best time to visit Maldives, how to get to Gulhi Island, things to do in Gulhi Island, Gulhi Island travel guide, where to stay in Gulhi island,Gulhi island, things to know before visiting Maldives

But if you are thinking when it’s a good opportunity to visit Maldives. I would say the best time to visit Maldives can be from May to July in the rainy season. Since isn’t so crowded and prices are cheaper than in peak season from November to April.

Based in our experience we have been in February and June/July in Maldives. And we really liked more June and July. Since prices were cheaper and the places weren’t full of people. We could always stay alone in the beaches.

The good thing about Maldives the rainy season isn’t so long and when it rains it doesn’t usually rain the whole day. As other countries like Thailand, India or Philippines the months with wet season can be rainy daily.

Getting good deals in the accommodation is the key in Maldives since it’s expensive. Since transportation is affordable, food isn’t expensive (only in the luxury resorts).
