HOW TO GET FROM CHISINAU TO TIRASPOL
MINI BUS FROM CHISINAU TO TRANSNISTRIA (CHEAPEST WAY)
The cheapest way from Moldova to Transnistria is by minibus. There are minibusses from Chisinau to Transnistria running every 20-30 minutes starting from 7 am until 6 pm. The buses are leaving from Gara Centrala (Chisinau Bus Terminal) just behind the Central Market in Chisinau.
The total travel time by minibus from Chisinau to Tiraspol in Transnistria is around 1 hour and 45 minutes. The mini-bus fare is 50 MDL which is $4 USD and you can buy the tickets in Chisinau Bus Terminal.
The mini-bus will do a quick stop at the border and you will get your Migration Card (free of charge). Even Transnistria isn’t officially recognized as a country just make sure you are bringing your passport.
TAXI FROM MOLDOVA TO TRANSNISTRIA
If you want to go from Moldova to Tiraspol in Transnistria will take a 1 hour and 20 minutes drive. The taxi fare from Chisinau to Tiraspol is around 400-500 MDL which is around $25 USD. We recommend you to negotiate the price before leaving the airport to avoid scams.

Yandex App is like Uber. You can download and ask for a car from Chisinau to Transnistria. The price can go around 400 MDL which is around $22 USD and the drive will take around 1 hour and 20 minutes depending on the traffic and your final destination. I prefer this option to avoid fighting and negotiating the prices with the taxi drivers.
