METRO FROM MEXICO CITY AIRPORT TO TEOTIHUACAN (CHEAPEST WAY)

The cheapest way from Mexico City airport to Teotihuacan is by metro plus bus. You can take the metro from Mexico City airport Yellow Metro Line 5 from the Terminal Aerea Station to Autobuses Del Norte (North Bus Station Mexico City) also in the Yellow Metro Line 5.

The metro is running every 5-10 minutes starting from 5 am until midnight (from Monday to Saturday) and from 7 am to midnight (Sunday and holidays). The metro fare from Mexico City airport to Autobuses Del Norte is 5 MXN which is less than half $1 USD (free of charge for children up to 5 years old and over 60 years old). You can pay by cash at the vending machines.

You will have to walk 7 minutes from Terminal 1 in the airport to the metro just follow the signs. If you are coming by Terminal 2 at Mexico City airport you will have to take Aerotren running from 5 am until 1 am just 5 minutes travel time to get the metro at Terminal 1.
