Vans From Lima Airport to Barranco (Cheapest Way)

The cheapest way from Lima airport to Barranco is by van. There are no direct vans from Lima airport to Barranco. You will have to ride the van from Lima airport to Miraflores Ovalo or Larcormar Mall where you can transfer to a Red Bus going to Barranco for 1 PEN.

There are public vans from Jorge Chavez Airport to Miraflores outside the airport. The van fare is $4 Soles which is $1 USD to Miraflores. From Miraflores, you will have to get a bus for $1 Sol going to Barranco.

There is no fixed schedule (vans are leaving when they are full) but you will see small vans with a sign and someone shouting the final destination. The travel time from Lima airport to Barranco by van can be around 1 hour and 15 minutes with the transfer included.

It can be crowded and I have been traveling by public buses in Lima so make sure you are bringing not so much luggage. There are vans going thru Avenida Faucett direct to Miraflores where you can stop at the Ovalo or Larcormar Mall to transfer to Barranco.

I would recommend you speak at least a few words in Spanish to communicate properly and always be careful with your belongings. Maybe you will have to pay extra for your luggage since there is a small space in the minivans and public buses in Lima.

There is no direct bus from Lima Airport to Barranco. You will have to get the Express Bus from Lima airport to Miraflores and transfer to a local bus going from Miraflores to Barranco.

The Express Bus fare from Lima airport to Miraflores is $8 USD you can book online and it will take 50-60 minutes. Later you will have to get the Red Bus going from Miraflores to Barranco with 15 minutes travel time and 1 Sol which is 25 cents of a dollar.

The taxi fare from Lima airport to Barranco will be around $25 USD. The travel time by taxi from Lima airport to Barranco is around 40 minutes. if you are traveling with 3-4 people can be cheaper than the Airport Express Bus. The travel time can be longer depending on the traffic and your final destination
