What Companies Work with Omio – Omio Review

In case you’re new to travel planning apps, it’s important for you to know that the transportation available on Omio’s website is not Omio’s own transportation. Omio actually helps you plan your trip, find the best transportation option in the country or region you are looking for, and book the transportation.

Some of the companies that you can find in Omio are:

Alsa, Eurolines, FlixBus, Renfe, OuibusIsilines, Regiojet, Trenitalia, Deutsche Bahn, Thalys, Eurostar, SBB,SNCF, Gatwick Express, Heathrow Express, Italo SJNS, Ryanair, British Airways, Lufthansa, easyJet, Air France and more.

You also have access to train tickets from the following companies (not limited to):

Amtrak, SNCF, Trenitalia, Thalys, ScotRail, FlixTrain, NS, Deutsche Bahn, and other night trains with Gatwick Express, high-speed trains in Europe, and train stations in Europe

Features We are Loving with Omio

1. Mobile Tickets

You’ll surely love having access to all your transport tickets in one place – buses, trains, and flights. Details as important as this can get lost in the juggle of travel planning and the Omio Travel App makes sure it keeps everything on hand for you by making mobile tickets available through the Omio app.

2. Choose from Different Local Transportation

It’s always good to know that you don’t have to always rely on flights when traveling. It lessens your carbon footprint and it’s also more economical in a lot of ways. Depending on where you’ll be traveling, you can have options for trains and buses and even carpool with Omio! That’s very efficient and environmentally friendly at the same time. For flights, you can also get options at a small fee and search for various companies to see what available flights you can get at prices you can afford.

3. Environmental Ways of Traveling

As mentioned above, you’ll have traditional options but also get carpooling options, especially in cities. Any small help we can do for the environment is good! Having the ability to access mobile tickets in place of printed tickets is also very helpful as well.

Pros with the Omio Travel Planning App

Right now, we see so many pros with Omio. Any tool that helps our trip become more efficient and fun is a pro to us. We like to do different kinds of travel and we always look for various options for transportation – local if possible and we find that Omio helps a lot, especially for transportation in Europe and North America.

Cons with the Omio Travel Planning App

We tested Omio in the Philippines and a lot of the transportation is not covered yet, so for now the only con we see with Omio is for countries they don’t cover yet. It is great to know through Omio already has a huge coverage – it’s already operating in 36 countries (and expanding as we write this). Omio is also available in 18 languages and 26 currencies so we can forgive the areas it doesn’t cover yet and can’t wait for every country to be supported.

Omio is now part of our travel planning arsenal. Make sure to try it for yourself too! Let us know if you have any questions and if you’ll be using Omio as well too.
