BY BUS AND TRAIN FROM DHAKA AIRPORT TO CITY CENTER (CHEAPEST WAY)
The cheapest way from Dhaka airport to city center is by bus or train. The Bus stop and Train Stop is outside the airport 10 minutes walk and you will have to cross a bridge to reach them!
The bus or train fare is around 100 BDT which is $1 USD and it will take 45 minutes by train and longer than an hour by bus.
If you take the train to Kamalapur Railway Station you can combine it with the metro until your final destination. And if you go by bus you will have to ask which one is more convenient for your final destination.
To be honest, if you are looking to save money or have a local experience you will have to ask locals since the information isn’t clear and you will manage to reach your accommodation!
