1. Try Pampangan Cuisine
We tried different restaurants in Boracay since we stayed a couple of weeks on the island. Our local carinderia was from Pampanga, so we ate like we were at home: Angeles City. They offered delicious food for affordable prices 50-60 PHP. They were really nice people and we enjoyed most of the meals there. Check them out!
2. Fresco Restaurant
They serve Filipino Food and their restaurant has sea views. The restaurant is located at Discovery Shores Boracay in Station 1. We loved the food, the service and of course, the sea views. It’s a perfect place for the sunset!
3. Indigo Restaurant
One of our favorite choices in Boracay Island for Western food and drinks. It’s a perfect spot for dinner listening to the waves because the area is quiet and calm. Prices are starting from 200-500 PHP per dish just in front of the sea in Discovery Shores Boracay. It’s one of the restaurants in Boracay with seaviews.
4. Food and Wine Tasting in Boracay
We were invited to a food tasting event in Boracay. It was amazing to try their food. The meat was delicious and well cooked. The wine was great and we had so much fun meeting new friends. We had so much fun and we were so lucky to get invited. We only had to fill the survey and give our feedback! Plus we got some meat takeaway to share with more people.

11. Ruf Resto Restaurant
Our favorite place for dinner was The Ruf Resto on the rooftop of Ferra Hotel. Located well inside Boracay and farther from the bars and restaurants, it’s actually a few minutes walk from Bulabog Beach and the White Beach.
The ambiance is perfect, and if you actually visit at the right moment, you’re actually eating with the amazing views of the sunset. There is a daily theme for music, and you can enjoy dining in tables or couches, whatever you’re feeling on that day.
The food was exquisite, Asian fusion, so we were actually able to enjoy Chicken Satay, Pork, Nasi Goreng with the rest of the local choices. Big portions, and very delicious. We tried different options, Malay, Indonesian, Thai and of course Filipino dishes. Also, there are nice cocktails to start the night. Rachel’s first mojito (and surprisingly, non-alcoholic, ha!)
12. Romantic Dinner
If you are traveling as a couple, or lucky enough to meet someone special in the island, you can’t miss a romantic dinner by the beach. We had dinner under the palm trees and the twinkling stars, with our feet touching the sand, while hearing the nearby waves of the sea! Perfect surroundings for an evening of sumptuous food and excellent conversation. Not a moment to miss!
Nowdays since the reopening in Boracay Island isn’t allowed anymore but you can stay close in the restaurants enjoying the view but not in the sand anymore.

Can’t really separate food with travel! During our first few days of stay in the island, we had an amazing Chinese lunch. Rachel and I are fond of Chinese cuisine all the time. We enjoyed noodle soups, desserts, rice and authentic Chinese dishes.
The Chinese decoration is also very inviting, something they really know how to do, what with all their beliefs surrounding design and architecture. Loved the Chinese food in Wang Shan Lo Restaurant. Highly recommended!
14. Jollibee and Mcdonalds
