They serve Filipino Food and their restaurant has sea views. The restaurant is located at Discovery Shores Boracay in Station 1. We loved the food, the service and of course, the sea views. It’s a perfect place for the sunset! Kare Kare was our favorite Filipino dish.

If you are looking for budget meals around D Mall, there are a few local restaurants where you will have a great dinner or lunch for an affordable price. Our favorites were Inasal Chicken always crowded and Androik. In both of these restaurants, you can have dinner starting from 100-150 PHP.

Obviously seafood is a must to try in Boracay Island. Crabs, prawns, lobster and more fishes you will find in the restaurants. So delicious!

50. Dine at Ruf Resto

Pork and corn at The Ruf Resto

Chicken Satay at The Ruf Resto

Nasi Goreng at The Ruf Resto great dinner for your getaway from Manila

Our favorite place for dinner was The Ruf Resto on the rooftop of Ferra Hotel. Located well inside Boracay and farther from the bars and restaurants, it’s actually a few minutes walk from Bulabog Beach and the White Beach. The ambiance is perfect, and if you actually visit at the right moment, you’re actually eating with the amazing views of the sunset. There is a daily theme for music, and you can enjoy dining in tables or couches, whatever you’re feeling on that day. The food was exquisite, Asian fusion, so we were actually able to enjoy Chicken Satay, Pork, Nasi Goreng with the rest of the local choices. Big portions, and very delicious. We tried different options, Malay, Indonesian, Thai and of course Filipino dishes. Also, there are nice cocktails to start the night. Rachel’s first mojito (and surprisingly, non-alcoholic, ha!)

Yes, it can be really touristy, and if you’re in the sole retreat, there may be some areas not suitable for you, but we had an excellent time in all the places we visited.
