What Is The Cheapest Way From Manila to Pagudpud?

The cheapest way from Manila to Pagudpud is by bus for $26-30 USD you can book online and it will take around 15 hours.

Pagudpud is Ruben’s favorite place to visit in the Philippines because there are almost no tourists around the area compared with other destinations like El Nido and Siargao. Pagudpud is a quiet town with a few places to stay. There are bars and restaurants to enjoy nightlife and the beaches and sunsets are amazing!

HOW TO GET FROM MANILA TO PAGUDPUD

By Bus From Manila To Pagudpud

You can ride a direct bus from Manila to Pagudpud via G.V Florida Transport and it costs from 750 PHP to 950 PHP. Travel time is about 10 hours.

It is best if you want to enjoy the scenery along the way. G.V Florida bus offers sleeper bus for a more comfortable trip and you will get ready in the morning to explore Pagudpud.

Other option if you aren’t riding the direct bus from Manila to Pagudpud. It’s riding a bus to Laoag. Night bus will be the best option. Around 4-5 am you will get to Laoag where you will ride a van 1 hour and a half to get to Pagudpud. The price is around 100-120 PHP and first van is leaving Laoag around 5 am.

How to get From Manila to Pagudpud By Private Transportation

If you want to get from Manila to Pagudpud in your own car or rent a van you can book online. There are 560 kilometers which can be done 9 hours by car or van. Especially if you are driving with no traffic. If not it can be until 10-12 hours to get to Pagudpud.

HOW TO GET FROM MANILA TO PAGUDPUD BY PLANE

If you want to get to Pagudpud by plane is the fastest way. Since there is no airport in Pagudpud. You will have to book a flight from Manila to Laoag.

Other alternative is booking a flight from Clark or Manila to Tuguegarao airport. This alternative would be great if you want to visit Tuguegarao, otherwise will take much longer than from Laoag to Pagudpud.

There are two daily flights from Manila to Laoag via Philippines Airlines. You will land in Laoag International Airport. From Laoag airport you have to get to city center in Laoag where you can then ride a bus or a van going to Pagudpud with the travel time of 2 hours and it costs 100 PHP. 

TRANSPORTATION AROUND PAGUDPUD

Just like other provinces in the Philippines, Pagudpud has tricycles for short trips or to go around the area. You can also rent tricycles if you want to have a DIY tour, although this is only advisable for 2-3 people only since tricycles are quite small.

Prices for tricycles are from 60-100 PHP around Pagudpud. If you want to hire them for a day tour prices are 600 PHP for North day tour and 900 PHP for a South day tour.

DAY TOUR IN PAGUDPUD

If you want to explore Pagudpud there are a few options. You can rent a motorbike for 400-500 PHP per day for a day tour in Pagudpud. You can also rent tricycles for a day tour 2-3 people maximum. Prices for a day tour in the North are 600 PHP and 900 PHP for South. If you do both day tours in the same day it costs 1300 PHP.

NORTH DAY TOUR IN PAGUDPUD

If you go by tricycle prices for a day tour in North part are 600 PHP and they will include these spots: Kabigan Falls, Patapat Viaduct, Timangtang Rock, Bantay Abot Cove, Blue Lagoon and Dos Hermanos Island. You can also try the zip line after Bantay Abot Cove and before going to Blue Lagoon.

SOUTH DAY TOUR IN PAGUDPUD

If you go by tricycle for a day tour around Pagudpud the price is 900 PHP and they will include these spots: Bangui windmills, view point Bangui windmills, Kapurpurawan Rock formations and Burgos Lighthouse.

For last 2 spots you will have to get a tricycle from Burgos (Pagudpud tricycle drivers aren’t allowed to drive you around) and your driver will wait for you. The price for last two activities are 300 PHP and they will discount from the cost of the tour 900 PHP.

You have to pay 10 PHP entrance fee before Kapurpurawan Rock formations and 20 PHP entrance fee for the lighthouse in Burgos if you access there!

WHERE TO STAY IN PAGUDPUD

For accommodation, a budget room would cost minimum 1000 PHP ($20 USD) and you can go up to 5000 PHP if you wish more comfort in Pagudpud.

PAGUDPUD RINNOVATI

Pagudpud Rinnovati features a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Free WiFi is available. At the resort, the rooms are equipped with a desk. The private bathroom is equipped with a bath and free toiletries. All rooms include a flat-screen TV with satellite channels.
