1. THE YELLOW BIRD

The Yellow Bird is a rum, and a big favorite in the Bahamian drinks, the Yellow Bird came from Jamaica. It’s a mx or orange and pineapple juice, rum, Galliano, apricot brandy and banana liqueur (this is sometimes removed).
2. BAHAMA MAMA

The Bahama Mama is one of the cocktails in Bahamas that can be paired with almost anything. The Bahama Mama is popularly made in two ways: you can have your Bahama Mama cocktail made with rum, coconut rum and fruit juices for a refreshing Bahamas summer vibe, or or you can make it as a coffee-flavored liqueur, a good start for a night out!
3. SKY JUICE

Sky Juice if you want a lighter drink, this list of Bahamas drinks is right for you. They Sky Juice is made with coconut water, gin, and condensed milk (what?), and a definite unique Bahamian drink.
4. GOOMBAY SMASH

The Goombay Smash is another popular Bahamian drink. From the name itself, this is the classic Goombay Punch with added ingredients. This one will have dark rum, coconut liqueur, pineapple juice, lemon juice and simple syrup.
5. PLANTER’S PUNCH

Planter’s Punch is another popular Bahamian cocktail with big Jamaican influences. This is cocktail made with Jamaican Rum, fresh lime juice, and sugar cane juice. Always a good one to try in an exciting Bahamian night!

The Junkanoo Festival has cowbells as an essential part of the celebration. Kallik Beer is a big national favorite and has variations – Kalik light, Kalik gold and Kalik platinum.

Sands Beer is one the beers in Bahamas favorite for locals. Full-bodied, smooth, and has a grapefruit taste, the Sands Beer is actually a popular beach drink choice.
9. BUSH CRACK BEER

An island life for tourists is never cheap, because these are usually seen as destinations and lavish vacations, but we always try to see the local life whenever we travel. Bush Crack Beer is considered the cheap Bahamian Beer – so always a good thing to try for the real local experience. Be careful because it has 5.9% alcohol content, but it has a lighter taste.

Is it ever a party without a Margarita? Bahamas has this popular drink too, so you can always start with this drink if you want something you’re already used to, to start an evening of party.
Margaritas are a mix of Tequila, Orange Liqueur and freshly-squeezed lime juice, you can also add agave, salt, and additional lime wedges and lime slices. Margaritas can be served as liquid or frozen too. Just remember, these alcoholic drinks tend to be sweet, so watch out if you’re on a diet!

Another fun Bahamas alcoholic drink, Calypso Sun Cocktails are fruity drinks definitely good for the tropical weather. With this drink you combine rum, coconut and pineapple, and you can even have them more tropical with more fresh citrus.

Hibiscus – definitely one wild and beautiful addition to any drink. Hibiscus tea concentrate is good for adding tart-sweet punch to your favorite cocktails. You can add this to your favorite margarita concoction and definitely a drink you should enjoy when you are in the beautiful islands of the Bahamas.
20. Piña Colada

Piña Colada is one of the classic sweet and fun drinks to have, don’t think this is only for the weak drinkers. Coladas are a mix of pineapple, coconut cream, white rum and dark rum. A beautiful mix and perfect for that Bahamas holiday!
21. Rebellious Fish

Here’s another drink to blow your mind. Rebellious fish is a mix of passion fruit liqueur, vodka, orange liqueur, sparkling wine for toppings and you can garnish it with fresh berries. Rebellious fish is definitely a bucket list for us when we go to the Bahamas!

Daiquiri is a Bahamian frozen drink, this is a mixed of several fruits – mango, strawberry, coconut, pineapple, banana. Blended with ice, until smooth, and can be served with or without white rum.

Goombay Punch is a popular Bahamian drink, resembling the pineapple soda, made into a fancy sweet drink. Can’t imagine a more fun beach lie-down day without one of these Goombay punches.
