How to get to Retiro Park Madrid
If you’re coming to Retiro Park Madrid you can take line 1, 2 and 9 of metro. There are many buses going to Retiro Park Madrid and you can also going by walk if you are staying close to city center.

RETIRO PARK

Retiro Park Madrid belonged to the Spanish Monarchy until the late 1868 when it became a public park. The park’s official name is Parque del Buen Retiro. The park is huge and full of life.
You will see many people joggling, cycling, skating, and walking around the park. There are areas in the park for relaxing if you feel like resting from the traffic and the busy city.

If you want to learn about Madrid’s culture and history in one bright, sunny location, Retiro Park is one of the places to visit in Madrid that you cant miss. There are statues, art galleries and museums in the park like Palacio de Velázquez, Palacio de Cristal and The Rosaleda Garden apart from the lake.
It is a park families will enjoy and is close to other tourist attractions. You can even rent a boat inside the small lake, rent a bicycle to go around. It´s located in the city center of Madrid.
Retiro Park Madrid Opening Hours

Retiro Park Madrid opening hours from October to March is 6 am until 10 pm and from April until September 6 am until midnight. There is no entrance fee to access to Retiro Park Madrid.
There is a small lake where you can rent a boat to spend the morning or the afternoon. Both are great plans. Of course, you can also cycle around Retiro Park.

There are a few landmarks that you must see: Palacio de Velázquez, Palacio de Cristal and The Rosaleda Garden.
