Filipino Drinks And Drinks in the Philippines
1. BUKO

Buko is always refreshing and you can find them everywhere in the Philippines as Filipino breakfast or anytime of the day. Prices are starting from 30 PHP and OMG is so delicious!
2. CALAMANSI JUICE

Calamansi is one of most popular drinks in the Philippines. It’s like a small lemon and it has sour taste. Calamansi juice is tasty and it’s usually made when getting a flu.
3. BARAKO COFFEE

Barako coffee is our favorite in the Philippines. We usually have daily at home. It’s coming from Cavite and Batangas. It has a strong taste and has therefore been named after the colloquial word for a stud, someone who’s very macho, a man’s man, a barako.
4. SHAKES AND SMOOTHIES

Smoothies are in every country in the Philippines in the malls and also shakes. You can enjoy many different flavors. Our favorite ones are mango and papaya. Prices are from $2-3 USD.
5. TAHO

Taho is a typical Filipinodrink sold as street food made from fresh soft tofu and sago pearl. It’s very sweet because of the arnibal. And strawberry taho in Baguio is a must to try.
6. BUKO PANDAN ICE CREAM

Buko Pandan became one of our favorite desserts aside from ube, halo-halo and crema de fruta. Just 50 PHP for this Filipino merienda, and we were able to eat more than once.
7. Sago’t Gulaman

Sago’t Gulaman is sweet with brown sugar and water. They add add the black or other color gulaman to make it sweet. It’s sold in most of the local markets. It’s one of the most popular Filipino drinks.
8. Samalamig

Samalamig is sold in local markets in the Philippines as cheap as 5-10 PHP. There are different flavors and it’s made of powder and refill with ice and water. Han loves them so much and it’s really popular for kids as Philippine drinks.
9. Yakult

Yakult is one of the most popular Filipino drinks for kids. They love so much for merienda and it’s only 10 PHP.
10. Salabat

Salabat is a homemade ginger tea and Filipino people love to drink when getting cold weather and to avoid getting a cold.
11. ISKRAMBOL

Iskrambol is for sure Han’s favorite in the list of Filipino snacks. Iskrambol is even sweeter than halo halo. It’s made of condense milk, milk powder, syrup and marshmallows.

12. LAMBANOG

Lambanog is a local wine in the Philippines, also called the nipa wine. It’s made from fermenting nipa leaves and it’s known for its unique aroma and taste.
13. Tanduay

Tanduay is popular in the islands in the Philippines. When doing island hopping and expedition trips they will always offer at night time before going to sleep and in the parties. It’s a sweet rum and it’s delicious.
14. Tuba

Tuba is a Filipino alcoholic beverage coming from the palm trees. It’s very common in the islands in the Philippines.
15. Basi

Basi is a fermented alcoholic beverage from Ilocos Norte the northen part of Luzon. Basi is made from sugarcane and the color is red.
16. Tapuy

Tapuy is a rice wine produced in Banaue. You will find this Filipino drink among Cordillera Province.

17. RED HORSE

My two favorite beer are Red Horse and Pilsen San Miguel. I love drinking Red Horse them with barbecue and salty snacks like calamares, lumpiang and mami. Prices of the beers are around $1 USD for a half liter bottle. Red Horse is the strongest of the Filipino beers with almost 7%.
18. PALE PILSEN SAN MIGUEL

Pale Pilsen San Miguel has less alcohol 5.5 % than Red Horse. It’s hard to choose but from the Filipino beers is Ruben’s favorite one. You can find everywhere in the Philippines for $1 USD.
19. Emperador

Emperador is a brandy which is so popular for Filipino drinks when locals join in a group especially after sunset time during the weekends and holidays.
