The cheapest way from La Fortuna to Montezuma Beach is by bus. The best way is to take the bus from La Fortuna to San Jose Costa Rica. Once in San Jose get the bus from San Jose to Montezuma where you will have to get a ferry but you can’t do this trip in the same day. You will have to stay overnight in San Jose since the bus schedule will not match.

If you want to reach La Fortuna to Montezuma Beach by bus in the same day. You will have to get a bus from La Fortuna to San Ramon, Puntarenas and get the ferry to Paquera where you will be able to get a bus to Cobano and the final bus to Montezuma Beach. Keep reading below!
