We have been doing long stopovers when going to Philippines and Maldives at Changi airport and you will have free WiFi, comfortable couches to sit down and all the comfort that you can imagine. The cheapest prices that we found in Singapore were in Little India where you can have a meal around $5 SGD. Our favorite dishes were Chinese and street juices.

19. HAINANESE CHICKEN RICE

Hainanese chicken rice is known to be a Chinese cuisine but Singapore also have their version of it. Hainanese chicken rice is usually made with chicken and seasoned rice, served with chili sauce and garnished with vegetables and herbs.

Kaya is popular in Singapore and countries around like Malaysia. Kaya is my favorite breakfast to try as Singaporean food. Kaya is served with bread and it’s a popular spread that tastes very sweet and has a unique coconut flavor.
