Hi, i get that you are saying that Safety Wing offers flexibility, but do you know if Heymondo can extend the insurance after 1 year of coverage? We are going on an Asia trip, we don't know exactly how long we will be there for, so will probably have to extend the one year cover once it has run out but we won't be back in our home country (UK) to do so ... what do you think, do you think it would be a problem? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much

Hi Nicola,

Heymondo has a few options for their plans and for your specific travel, you should go for the Long Stay Insurance. You will be able to extend this later, so once the original insurance is about to expire, try to renew it until 3 days before expiry.

Hope this helps and let us know if you need more help!

It wasn’t clear to me which companies offer insurance to senior citizens. I’ve read where many do not offer it if you are over 74 years old. Can you please clarify what you know about that? Thank you.

Hi there, at this moment, we can suggest the Genki Resident coverage. Here's the link: https://genki.world/ You can add the age there and it will give you the Genki resident insurance as the option you can have as a lot of the other insurances is capped at 69 years old. Let us know how else we can help!
