HOW TO GET FROM NASSAU AIRPORT TO CITY CENTER
AIRPORT BUS FROM NASSAU AIRPORT TO CITY CENTER (CHEAPEST WAY)
The cheapest way from Nassau airport to city center is by bus. There are local buses outside the airport running during the day in the highway. You will have to walk 5-10 minutes outside the airport to reach John F Kennedy Drive in the roundabout the local buses will stop. If I’m not mistaken Bus 12B will go to city center but just ask the driver.

The local buses in the Bahamas are leaving outside the airport in the Highway (John F Kennedy Drive) and heading to city center. The bus is passing by and stops at West Bay Street where most of the accommodations are in Nassau.

The travel time by taxi is around 15 minutes and the taxi fare from Lynden Pindling International Airport to city center is around $30-35 USD (for two people with fees included).

The best way from Lynden Pindling International Airport to Nassau is getting a taxi or a private transfer since the distances aren’t far and you will get to your accommodation in 15 minutes for around $30-35 USD especially a great idea if you are traveling with someone.
If you are traveling on a budget you can walk outside the airport for 10 minutes in the Highway roundabout and get the local buses going to different places in the city. The buses are really cheap $2.5 USD. Just make sure you don’t have so much luggage and you do during the daytime.
