HOW TO GET FROM PALMA DE MALLORCA AIRPORT TO DOWNTOWN

BUS FROM PALMA DE MALLORCA AIRPORT TO CITY CENTER (CHEAPEST WAY)

The cheapest way from Palma de Mallorca airport to city center is by bus. The Bus A1 is running every 15-30 minutes from 6 am to 1 am in winter and until 2 am in summer (1st of May until 31th of October).

The bus fare A1 is €5 and €8 if you buy a return ticket. If you are going to other destinations like Magaluf, Cala D’Or, Santanyí, the bus ticket can cost until €12. For children up to 5 years old is free of charge and for locals is only €1.

The travel time from Palma de Mallorca airport to city center is around 20-30 minutes depending on your final destination at city center. You can get Bus A1 at Arrivals on the Second Level at the airport you will have to walk outside to find the bus stop but everything is with signs Bus Stop.

If you are going to Mallorca city center you can stop at Plaça d’Espanya and you can go walking to your final destination or get the Metro Line 1 and Metro Line 2 to move around Mallorca city center. The final stop of Bus A1 is the Mallorca Port.

Bus A2 Route Palma de Mallorca Airport – S’Arenal

Bus A2 is running every 15-30 minutes depending of the time of the year summer or winter. Bus A2 is going to Arenal Beach. The bus schedule is from 7 am to 10 10 pm in winter (1st November to 30th April) and from 7 am to midnight in summer (1st May to 31th October).

Airport – Costa D’en Blanes – Son Caliu – Palmanova – Magaluf – Santa Ponça – Costa de la Calma – Peguera. The bus travel time can last around 1 hour and Magaluf is one of the most tourist areas especially for British people in Palma de Mallorca.
