HOW TO GET FROM ZURICH AIRPORT TO VADUZ

TRAIN FROM ZURICH AIRPORT TO VADUZ

First thing if you are going from Zurich airport to Vaduz by train. You need to go to Zurich Train Station and the best way is by train. The train fare from Zurich airport is 6.80 CHF for adults and 3.40 CHF for children from 6 to 16 years and free under 6 years old.

You can use the tickets for 60 minutes in other public transportation in Zurich and buy in the ticket machine at the airport. You can get for free from Zurich airport to city center if you have the Swiss Travel Pass and Zurich Card.

The Trains (S2, S16, S24) are leaving every 5-10 minutes, from 5 am until 12 30 am. The total travel time is 10-15 minutes from the airport to the main train station in Zurich. S trains are leaving from the underground railway station near Terminals 1 and 2.

If you want to go from Zurich airport to Vaduz by train the best way is combined with the bus. From Zurich HB Main Station you will go to Sargans. If you prefer going by train from Zurich to Schaan will cost 20 CHF one way and 40 CHF return ticket. And the train travel time will be 1 hour 20 minutes or 1 hour and 40 minutes depending on the train. Once in Schaan to go to Vaduz you can ride Bus Number 11 and Bus Number 13 going to Balzers.

The travel time is around 10 minutes and the prices are 5 CHF for one way. If you have a return ticket show to the bus driver and you will not have to pay for the bus since it’s included.
