BEST TIME TO VISIT BATANES

March to June is the best time to visit Batanes. Since there are only minimal rainfalls and it’s sunny in Batanes. If you prefer cold weather instead instead of the warm, you can visit Batanes from December to February where the weather is nice and cold. HOW TO GET TO BATANES

The only way to get to Batanes is by plane. There are daily flights from Clark in Pampanga, Tuguegarao and the capital Manila going to Batanes. Take note that there are no boats going to Batanes anymore. So the only option will be the flight. We will write for you prices, schedule and flight companies going to Batanes

There are two flights going from Clark International airport to Basco Airport with Philippine Airlines. The schedule of the flight is 6 30 am and 10 30 am and it will take 1 hour and 40 minutes to reach Batanes. The same flight will go back to Clark leaving Batanes around 9 am and 12 30 pm.

The airport in Batanes is really small and close to the proper town that you can even go walking distance!

HOW MUCH IS THE FLIGHT TICKET GOING TO BATANES FROM CLARK?

If you get one way ticket prices are starting from 4000-6000 PHP one way. Prices for return ticket will be around 8000-12000 PHP return ticket. Good thing Philippine Airlines always include luggage up to 10 kilos plus hand luggage. So you don’t need to pay extra for your luggage!

There are daily direct flights with Cebu Pacific and Sky Jet. The flights are leaving at 6 am and the flight will take an hour and a half to two hours. Philippine Airlines offer flights but you have to stop over in Clark International Airport.

HOW MUCH IS THE FLIGHT TICKET GOING TO BATANES FROM CLARK?

The prices are around 5000-6000 PHP for one way. For return ticket the flight costs 10000-12000 PHP.

HOW TO GET TO BATANES FROM TUGUEGARAO

There are also flights from Tuguegarao to Batanes with Sky Pasada. We always use Skyscanner to compare prices and schedule. Prices from Tuguegarao and more expensive than flying from Manila and Clark. It depends on the season prices will go down and they will be more flights available to get to Batanes from Tuguegarao.

HOW TO GET  TO BASCO TOWN FROM BASCO AIRPORT?

No worries about this it will be really easy! If you have a tour company, they will usually pick you up from the airport. If you are staying around Basco town you can go walking distance. If you have so much luggage there are tricycles around to drive to your place in Basco.

Baletin Hometel is located in Basco. Among the various facilities of this property are a garden, a terrace and a shared lounge. The property has a restaurant. The rooms in the guesthouse are equipped with a electric tea pot. 

Baletin Hometel provides some units that have a balcony and sea view, and each room includes a private bathroom and a desk. The area is popular for cycling, and bike rental and car rental are available at the accommodation. Room rate starts at 2,000 PHP a night.
