Isla Reta is one of those beach resorts yet to fully bloom. You could swim, dive, and just enjoy the beautiful untouched sea kingdom. You could even pitch your tent near the shores if you’re planning for an overnight stay. Isla Reta is located at Talikud Island.

2. DAYANG BEACH RESORT

Another beach resort in Talikud Island is Dayang Beach Resort. It’s another small humble resort that has white sandy beaches, beautiful views of the majestic Mount Apo, and a lush garden in the backyard. Cottages are also available in the area.

3. TALIKUD ISLAND
If you want more of those good island vibes, you can visit Talikud Island. It’s just a few minutes away from Samal Island (literally behind Samal Island) and almost an hour away from Davao.
Talikud is the perfect place to watch the sunset, relax on the beach and do some snorkeling.
There are several resorts on the island with entrance fees of around 75 PHP for a day trip and 50-150 PHP for an overnight stay in a tent.
On the other hand, cottage rentals cost around 400-1,800 PHP and is ideal for larger groups.

5. MAXIMA AQUAFUN RESORT
If you’re visiting the wonderful island of Samal with the family, you will surely enjoy a getaway to Maxima AquaFun.
It is one of the best things to do in Samal Island and one of the best Samal Beaches for big groups because of the super slide, banana boats, jet skis, snorkeling and diving gear you can enjoy.
The entrance fee is only 300 PHP for the majority of the activities in the resort. You can take a boat that goes to Maxima Aquafun from Sta. Ana Wharf at 9 AM and heads back at 4 PM. A round trip ticket costs 150 PHP per person.

Another beach resort in Samal is Costa Marina Beach Resort. The resort has good value because of its budget-friendly room accommodations and meals.
Not just that, they are also conveniently located at Caliclic, Babak District. Costa Marina might be humble looking but it just realistically describes what it feels like to be an islander. One of the most beautiful Samal Beach Resorts.

7. VANISHING ISLAND

Another must-see in Samal Island is a unique area a few minutes from the coast of Tambo, Babak. Vanishing Island, as its name implies, goes underwater during high tide and resurfaces during low tide.
It has crystal clear waters that are perfect for snorkeling when the water gets deep and is also fun to walk around on and explore during low tide.
A boat to this stretch of sand costs around 250-300 PHP and usually comes with lunch and a 3-hour stay on the island.
8. KAPUTIAN BEACH PARK RESORT

Kaputian Beach Park Resort is a hidden laid-back haven. The long stretchy shoreline and the relaxing isolated vibes. The beach is also good for photoshoots.
The area is spacious and you’ll find good angles and sunlight for your Instagram-worthy shots. You’ll also have the beautiful view of the Talikud Island.

9. PEARL FARM BEACH RESORT

If you’re into panoramic ocean views, gorgeous beach fronts and luxurious spaces in one of Samal Beaches, Pearl Farm Beach Resort is the place for you.
This is the only 5-star resort in Mindanao and takes pride in its promotion of local culture and products. The resort also offers plenty of thrilling water activities and tours. It has a spa for relaxation and a lounge for movie nights. The rooms are spacious and have enchanting decor.

10. SECDEA BEACH RESORT

Secdea Beach Resort is located right in the middle of Mangrovitum, a line of century-old Mangrove trees that make the place more unique. The pool is only small however, kids could still enjoy it.
The resort is pretty huge and you’ll really enjoy both the spacious and unique experience. Try their mangrove walk, to enjoy the nature “feels”. The resort is quite pricey for some. But amazing in this list of Beach Resorts in Samal if you are traveling with kids.

11. THE ISLAND BUENAVISTA
The Island Buenavista is the perfect island getaway. Complete with the amenities you need when staying at a hotel, except that this is a resort. The area is also comparably huge to other resorts in this list.
Also, the island is pretty well maintained. The connection between each process is smoothly done, so you don’t have to stress yourself because you’ll get your getaway just by feeling the procedure.
12. BABU SANTA BEACH RESORT
Babu Santa Beach Resort isn’t unlike any other resort. It’s a frequent stopover by the people going to Talikud Island, but it’s more than just that. It feels like it is an untouched island, safe to live on.
Just like what you see in the movies, simple hut along the shore, and a shoreline, water, trees, and that’s all. For a lot of people, they love going to these types of resorts to disconnect for a while.
There is no entrance fee but there is a dock fee of 200 PHP. A tent also costs about 75 PHP per person.
