1. Oia Sunset in Santorini
Oia is a coastal town on the northwestern tip of Santorini, a Greek Aegean island. The town has whitewashed houses carved into the rugged clifftops, and overlooks a vast caldera filled with water. In a 19th-century mansion, the Naval Maritime Museum has exhibits on local seafaring history, including old figureheads, sailors’ chests and models of old ships. Nearby the town is the ruined Oia Castle, where you’ll see the most incredible sunset view. You can’t miss as most instagrammable places in Santorini.
How to get to Oia? Coming from Fira, you can just ride a bus going to Oia. Buses from Fira goes to Oia every twenty minutes.

2. Athens Parthenon
The Parthenon is a former temple on the Athenian Acropolis, Greece, dedicated to the goddess Athena, whom the people of Athens considered their patron. Construction began in 447 BC when the Athenian Empire was at the peak of its power.
How to get to Parthenon? If you are coming from the airport, there are taxis that can take you to the Acropolis. From, airport to the Acropolis, it only takes 30 minutes or so of the trip. Be reminded that the fare is flat with €35 at daytime and €50 at night time with all applicable surcharges included like toll cost, luggage fee, VAT, airport charge and meter charged.
3. Thessaloniki, White Tower
The White Tower is the most recognizable spot of Thessaloniki, Greece. With its distinctive cylindrical shapes, this six-story building became the city’s trademark. It has become a meeting point and a good place for a walk. You can go to the viewing platform located at the top of the Tower. It is an extension of the exhibition center.
How to get to the White Tower? From airport, if you take the Thessaloniki Airport bus takes 45 minutes and costs €0.6. Getting to the city center if you want to prefer to transfer will take 25 minutes, and you will have to pay from €25 for such a trip. This bus goes through city center, and makes stops at the city railway station and bus station. You can also take a taxi at any time of day.

4. Meteora Monasteries
Meteora is a rock formation located in Central Greece. It´s the second most important complex Orthodox monastery after Mount Athos. There are 6 monasteries included in UNESCO World Heritage list. Meteora has hiking tours, and it is one of the best ways to enjoy some geological phenomenon, as well as to learn the history of a UNESCO World Heritage site. Experience the nature at its best and enjoy great views. Remember that you should wear shoes that has good quality for hiking.
How to get to Meteora Monasteries? If you are coming from Athens, the easiest way to get to Meteora from Athens is via train. The main train station in Athens is Larissa Station which is located on the red line of the Metro. If you’re coming directly from the airport, take the Blue line from Athens Airport to Syntagma station and switch to the red line. Train cost €18.20 per person one way.

5. Cave Hotels in Mykonos

How to get to Cavo Tagoo? If you’re coming from Mykonos Town or in the old port quay area specifically, you can walk for about 10 minutes to Cavo Tagoo. But if you want to go faster and easier, it is always okay to take a taxi.

This is another excellent place to see the sunset and have a lovely dinner. How to get to Little Venice? For starters, you can use the road that leads to The famous windmills as from there, you can walk to the seashore where little Venice is located. If you’re coming to Platos Giatos, you can ride a bus to Mykonos Town for €1.60 one way. The ride will only take 10 minutes. From there, you can already walk to Little Venice.
8. Platis Gialos Beach, Mykonos
A family friendly beach in Mykonos in Greece is Platis Gialos, another popular and accessible beach in the island. There are plenty of water sports to try here and you’re sure to enjoy the clear water in this beach. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available for only €10, which are relatively cheaper than other destinations. If you want to go to Psarou beach is only 5 minutes walking distances.
How to get to Platis Gialos? The bus ride from Platis Gialos to the center of Mykonos Town and vice versa only takes 8 minutes of your time and can costs €1.60 one way.
