If you are on a budget and traveling with not so much luggage you can get the Bus Number 1 for $10 NZD and 30 minutes travel time. If you buy the Bee Card will be only $2 NZD but the card will cost $5 NZD and you will have to top a minimum $10 NZD.
If you are planning to move around Queenstown and you are traveling with more people renting a car can be a great option especially if you rent Airbnb outskirts of Queenstown.
