The Airport Bus X96 Athens airport to Piraeus is running every 20-40 minutes during the day and around 40-60 minutes at night available 24/7.
The bus fare X96 Athens airport to Piraeus is €6 one way ticket for adults and €3 for children (up to 6 years old is free of charge). The travel time is around 90 minutes to the Piraeus. You can get the Airport Bus outside the airport between the Exit 4 and 5 in front of Sofitel Hotel. The best way from Athens airport to Piraeus is by metro. Your total travel time will be around 1 hour and 15 minutes you will have to add the waiting time. The metro from Athens airport to Piraeus is running every 10-25 minutes from 6 30 am to 11 30 pm.
It will take around 30 minutes to Monastiraki Metro Stop where you will have to transfer to the Green Line 1 and another 30 minutes until Piraeus Metro Station plus the walking distance 10 minutes extra to get the metro at the airport.
If you are going to Piraeus will be 5 minutes walking distance from the metro station to the port. You can get Metro Blue Line 3 Athens International Airport – Aghia Marina and changing at Monastiraki getting the Green Line 1 until Piraeus.

The metro fare is €10 per person one way valid for 90 minutes which enough time for getting to your destination around the Piraeus. The main problem with the metro from Athens airport you will have to walk 10 minutes and going outside but it’s easy to find following the signs.

There are many food that you should try in Greece, you can spend €3-7 per meal. You should probably try gyros and souvlaki, this has become one of our favorite food to eat in Greece. It comes with salad, sauce and French Fries. The cost of each starts from €2-3. Bougatsa is a custard pastry available in Greece.
You can find this anywhere in the country, the price of this piece of pastry is €2.40. And you should definitely try their go to Greek food Baklavas. There are fine restaurants where you can a three course meal for €10 and the food is amazing in Greece. We loved it feta cheese, gyros, souvlaki and salad so much!
