BEST TIME TO VISIT TAIPEI

Taipei is located in North Taiwan so the weather is really nice it can be cold in January and February. In Taipei and the weather it’s not so hot like Tainan and Kaohsiung. The best time to visit Taipei is from November to April when the weather is dry and not so hot the temperature. November to April: The weather is dry and temperature is not so hot. The coldest months are January and February. May to October: The weather is so hot and it’s rainy season. The typhoon season is starting from July to September when is the most rainy season in Taiwan.

How To Get From Kaohsiung to Taipei By Train (Fastest Way)

If you want to get from Kaohsiung to Taipei by train. There are two options High Speed Train which is more expensive and faster. And Train Railways which is the local train cheap and slower. Main problem with High Speed Train is the station is 20 minutes far from city center.

Kaohsiung to Taipei High Speed Train

Kaohsiung to Taipei train schedule. There are trains leaving every 15-20 minutes from Kaohsiung to Taipei. Starting 6 am and finishing around 10 pm. The travel time will take around 1 hours 30 minutes to 2 hours 30 minutes. The tickets can cost between $50-60 USD. Make sure you book 2 weeks before if you don’t want to risk and secure your spot.
