Binucot Beach is located in the South of Tablas Island, Romblon Province in Visayas. We will tell you with details how to get to Binucot Beach from different points of Tablas Island. The beach is popular because of the beautiful sunset and we were there and obviously didn’t disappoint us!
One kilometer of white beach, with clear blue water where you can swim and snorkeling. We saw fishes and star fishes very close to the seashore. We were coming from Boracay Island and Carabao Island. And we still got surprised of the beauty of the beach.

Best Time to visit Binucot Beach
There are 2 seasons- wet and dry season in Tablas Island. The wet season starts from June to November. And the rainy season can start as early from June to October. The best time to visit Binucot Beach would be in the months of January and February. We were there in March and the weather was sunny and little bit windy for flying the drone in Romblon Province. How to get to Binucot Beach
How to get to Binucot Beach by boat
There are daily boats getting to Looc from Caticlan coming around 1 pm also leaving in the morning if you are planning to go from Looc to Caticlan.
There are boats getting to Santa Fe port in South Tablas Island from Carabao Island at 7 am and also boats leaving Carabao Island 12 pm (this boat isn’t leaving daily at the time we were in Carabao Island, only alternative days). To get to Looc Fish Sanctuary from Santa Fe port you will have to ride a jeepney to Looc around 30 minutes ride. It will cost 100 PHP per person. The jeepney can be full and maybe you will ride on the top with the luggage since can be full inside the jeepney. Once you are in Looc you have to ride a tricycle to Binucot Beach which costs around 300-400 PHP.
There are also ferries going to Odiogan in Tablas Island from Batangas. Ferries are getting to Odiogan around 11 am from Batangas. If you are going from Odiogan to Batangas ferries are leaving around 12 pm and it will take 7 hours to reach Batangas port. Prices of the ferry is around 800 PHP per person and it includes one meal and bed to rest during your trip in the economy class. From Odiogan port you have to ride a tricycle that will take around 40 minutes and it will cost around 600-800 PHP.
From Roxas a boat departs daily at 10AM to Odiongan and returns on the same day at 1PM. It will take 2 hours the journey. Daily ferries from Romblon going to San Agustin port in Tablas Island at 8 am and 1pm.

How to get to Binucot Beach by plane
The airport in Tablas Island, Tugdan Airport with weekly flights from Manila just in case you are planning to get by plane. Tugdan Airport is located 30 kilometers far from Binucot Beach. The flights last 1 hour and 30 minutes and the departure from Manila to Tablas Island is Wednesday, Friday and Sunday from 1 pm to 2 30 pm. And coming back to Manila in the same days Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 3 pm and getting to Manila International Airport at 4 30 pm. Prices of the flight ticket can be around 3000-5000 PHP.
What to do in Binucot Beach
If you have time we recommend you to spend the day at Binucot Beach. There are a couple of places to eat: a pirate boat and a local restaurant. For sure you have to wait until the sunset since it’s so magical and beautiful in Binucot Beach. Check out our drone shots below:
There are a couple of beaches almost one kilometer of white sand and blue water. You can bring your snorkeling gear since the water is so clean and transparent. To get here you can go on your own with a motorbike. or you can also rent a tricycle prices are around 400 PHP one way and 600-800 PHP return and they will wait for you in Binucot Beach.
Where to Stay in Binucot Beach
There are a few places to stay in Binucot Beach all around 1500-2500 PHP budget per a room. There are more accommodations in Odiogan port and also in Looc which around 20 minutes driving. The best way to move around is renting a motorbike that will cost you around 500 PHP per day. If not tricycle will be your only choice to move around.
