Best Time to visit Bohol

For the coolest weather, the best time to visit Bohol is from November to April. You may experience rains during the months of November to February but the other months are sure to be sunny and bright.

How to get to Bohol from Manila by Plane

If you want to get to Bohol from Manila by plane. There are daily and direct flights from Manila to Bohol-Panglao International Airport. The arrival point in Bohol is the new airport of Panglao. Prices of the flights are around 2000-4000 PHP one way and the flight will take 1 hour and 40 minutes.

You can get affordable tickets with Air Asia, Cebu Pacific and also Philippine Airlines. There are also ferries from Manila to Bohol but be ready to have a long journey 25 hours.

How to get to Bohol from Clark by Plane

If you are going to Bohol from Clark there are daily flights from Clark (where we are based) with Cebu Pacific and Philippine Airlines. The flight will take 1 hour and 20 minutes to reach Bohol and prices are around 2000-4000 PHP.

How to get to Bohol from Davao by Plane

If you are going to Bohol from Davao there are daily direct flights with Cebu Pacific and Philippine Airlines. The flight will take 1 hour 20 minutes and prices are going from 3000-5000 PHP.

How to get to Tagbilaran from the airport

If you are heading to Tagbilaran from the new airport of Panglao there are buses running during the day. The ride will take 30-40 minutes and prices are 50 PHP. If you are going from Panglao Airport to Alona Beach prices of the tricycle are around 100-200 PHP depending of your negotation skills.

If you are going to Bohol from Cebu there are daily ferries from 5 am to 7 pm going to Tagbilaran and Tubigon in Bohol

From Cebu to Tagbilaran Port in Bohol

If you are going to Tagbilaran the capital of Bohol fast boats will take 2 hours and prices are around 400-600 PHP. From Tagbilaran to Panglao there are only 20 kilometers. There are slow ferries and Ro Ro that will take 4 hours and you can get tickets have of the price than the fast boats.

From Cebu to Tubigon Port in Bohol

If you are going to Tubigon port from Cebu the fast boat ride will take 1 hour and prices are around 250 PHP. There is a slow ferry that will take 2 hours and prices are around 170 PHP. From Tubigon to Panglao there are 70 kilometers. It depends on where are you going in Bohol you can go to Tagbilaran or Tubigon.

How to get to Bohol

There is a daily ferry to Bohol from Siquijor with OceanJet at 12 30 pm. The ferry from Larena in Siquijor will take 1 hour 30 minutes and prices are around 850 PHP to get to Tagbilaran in Bohol.

How to get to Bohol from Camiguin Island

If you are coming from Camiguin to Bohol. There is a daily ferry at 8 am it will take 4 hours to reach Jagna and the price is 425 PHP.

How to get to Bohol from Cagayan de Oro

There are flights going to Bohol from Cagayan de Oro. It will take only 1 hour and prices are around 3000-5000 PHP. There aren’t daily flights from Cagayan de Oro to Bohol. If you’re coming from Cagayan de Oro, you can come aboard the night ferry for 570 PHP and with a travel time of 8-9 hours.

How to get to Panglao from Tagbilaran

Panglao Island is around 45 minutes jeepney ride from Tagbilaran. From the port, you can walk for about 15 minutes to the downtown area where jeepneys leave for Panglao. The ride costs 25 PHP.

It’s a great experience to travel by jeepney. During the 20-kilometer ride from Tagbilaran to Panglao, you will see children going to school and locals leaving for work. Everyone just goes on with their lives in their daily commute on the jeepney. Panglao is filled with cheerful people and it is such a beautiful island where there are many plans to do!

If you decide to go by tricycle prices are around 300 PHP and the ride will take around 45 minutes. If you prefer the comfort of the taxi it will cost you around 500 PHP and it will take 40 minutes.
