The Valley of Colors Baguio is also called Stobosa. It’s a Barangay (small neighborhood) called Balili located in La Trinidad, Benguet. The project of Valley of Colors (also called Stobosa) was organized by the Department of Tourism in cooperation with artists of Tam-Awan Village and the residents of the Barangay. It was an inspiration from the Favelas in Brazil.
Valley of Colors is actually a resettlement area. And residents and other volunteers decided to paint it colorfully to turn it from a big eyesore to now an eye-catching love to visit.
It was once more colorful, but now a little dirtier, but that’s just how life sometimes go. We’re sure that with a little effort, it can be groomed to a much more beautiful and lovable area, but it’s still a place many people go and visit for a quick spot to take photos. Keep reading below to see our pictures there.
