Batangas is a quiet area and relaxed destination in the Philippines. There are dry season and rainy season. The best time to visit Batangas is from November to March, the town’s dry season.
The rainy season is from June to September and Christmas and New Year is the busiest season where you will have to book in advance.

HOW TO GET FROM MANILA TO BATANGAS BY BUS
If you want to get from Manila to Batangas by bus. There are buses going to Batangas very often. You can board the buses from Alabang, Buendia or Cubao where there are hourly trips to Batangas. It takes 3 hours to reach Batangas and costs around 200 PHP, or $4 USD.
BUS TERMINAL GOING TO BATANGAS SCHEDULE AND FARE
CUBAO BUS TERMINAL TO BATANGAS
Buses leaving from Cubao bus terminal to Batangas starts at 5 am until 8 pm. The buses run every 30-40 minutes. Amd Cubao to Batangas travel time can be up to 3 hours. The bus fare is around 200 PHP.
ALABANG BUS TERMINAL TO BATANGAS
Buses leaving from Alabang bus terminal to Batangas starts at 4 am until 8 pm. The travel time can be around 2 hours and the bus fare is around 160 PHP. The buses run every 30-40 minutes. Alabang Bus Terminal will be the best option if you are planning to go from Manila to Batangas port.
BUENDIA BUS TERMINAL TO BATANGAS
Buses leaving Buendia bus terminal to Batangas starts at 4 am until 8 pm. The travel time will be around 2-3 hours and the bus fare around 240 PHP. The buses run every 30-40 minutes.
MANILA TO BATANGAS PORT
If you are planning to get from Manila to Batangas Port. You can get a bus from Cubao, Alabang or Buendia Bus Terminal from 4 am to 8 pm.
The travel time from Manila to Batangas will be around 2-3 hours depending on the traffic. The bus fare from Manila to Batangas will be around 240 PHP you can book online depending the Bus Terminal where you get the bus.

HOW TO GET TO BATANGAS FROM MANILA BY CAR
If you want to get to Batangas from Manila in your private car. Manila to Batangas travel time by car can be less than two hours with no traffic.
There are a few routes. Tagaytay-Sta Rosa is the most convenient if you are heading to Tagaytay one of the most popular getaway destinations from Manila. You can also take Slex and STAR Tollway and Silang Aguinaldo Higway.
GETTING TO NASUGBU
Nasugbu is a perfect place for staying in a luxury resort. We stayed at Pico Sands Hotel which private beach – clear and beautiful. The scenery is very serene and you can spend the day swimming snorkeling. You can also do day trips to the coves around the beach if the weather is nice.
If you are getting to Nasugbu from Manila by bus. You have to ride a bus from Buendia or Pasay. If you take the bus from Manila to Nasugbu from Buendia you have to take the DLT Bus.
If you are taking the bus from Manila to Nasugbu from Pasay you will have to go to BSC Bus Terminal. Price is 160 PHP and it will take 3-4 hours.

GETTING TO TAGAYTAY
One of our favorite things to do in Tagaytay was to hike Taal Volcano. It was an easy trek and we reached the view point in an hour, while going down took us around 40 minutes. If you want to go to one of the most visited places in Tagaytay and the Philippines, you can take a trip to Taal Volcano, too.
From here, you can get scenic views of Taal Lake with an entrance fee of 100 PHP per person. If you are getting to Tagaytay from Manila by bus. You can ride a bus from Cubao, San Agustin EDSA, Buendia or Pasay.
Prices will be 80 PHP if you ride the bus from Cubao from Araneta terminal will cost you around 120 PHP. It will take around 2 hours depending on the traffic and little bit more from Cubao.
GETTING TO ANILAO
There are many activities to do in Anilao like Kayaking, snorkeling, diving, island hopping and paddling. The water are so clear and there is too much to explore around the islands and many great spots for snorkeling. Try to do all of them while spending your days in Anilao.
If you are getting to Anilao from Manila by bus. Once you get Batangas bus station you have to options riding the jeepney around 35 PHP until the market in Mabini.
And from here you will have to manage to get a tricycle to your resort. Prices can be 100-200 PHP per tricycle. You can also get a tricycle for 300-400 PHP direct to your resort in Anilao from the terminal.

GETTING TO PUERTO GALERA
Puerto Galera is a great destination for diving and snorkeling. You can also do island hopping, enjoying the beaches and nightlife.
