If you go from Berlin airport to Alexanderplatz will take 45 minutes. If you are going to Potsdamer Platz or Stadtmitte you will have to change at Berlin Hauptbahnhof (Berlin Central Station).

The train fare is €3.60 one-way tickets for adults and €2.60 for children and it’s valid for 2 hours. You can buy the tickets online or in the vending machines at the airport. You can get the train at the airport between Terminal 1 and 2 once you exit Arrival Halls just follow the Green Sign just 5 minutes walking.

If you are arriving at Berlin Terminal 5 (only option is S1) you will have to catch a train going to the Terminals 1 and 2 if you get S45.

Airport Express Train

Airport Express Train from Berlin airport to city center is the best way. The trains FEX, RE7 and RB14 run every 10-20 minutes from Berlin airport to downtown starting from 4 30 am to 11 30 pm. If you go from Berlin airport to city center will take 30 minutes.

The Night Bus N60 is starting at 12 50 am until 4 20 am. It will take around one hour to get from Berlin airport to Alexanderplatz. Great choice if you get at night time and you are staying around this area.
