The cheapest way from Prague airport to city center is by public bus. There are a few buses going from Prague airport to downtown the fare is €1.25 and €1 extra if you are bringing a suitcase.
You will have to transfer to metro and it will be included in the ticket since is until 90 minutes (tram, bus and metro). The total travel time from Prague to downtown by public bus and metro will be 50-60 minutes.
Bus Number 119
The most convenient is Bus Number 119 running every 6-12 minutes from Prague airport to Nadrazi Veleslavin (Green Metro Line A) starting at 4 23 am until 11 22 pm. The travel time will be around 20 minutes. You can get the Bus Number 119 from Terminal 1 and 2 outside the airport.
