You can read our favorite Pagudpud tourist spots in the province of Ilocos Norte, Philippines. It had previously been a part of the neighboring town of Bangui where you can find the windmills.

The scenery when you go to Pagudpud is breathtaking; with its green hills, rice paddies, Saud Beach, Kabigan Falls and grassy plains, everywhere you look is such a sight to see.

How to get to Cape Bojeador Lighthouse

If you get to Cape Bojeador Lighthouse by tricycle for a South day tour around Pagudpud the price is 900 PHP and they will include these spots: Bangui windmills, view point Bangui windmills, Kapurpurawan Rock Formation and Burgos Lighthouse.

To get from Pagudpud to Cape Bojeador Lighthouse will take 40 minutes. For last 2 spots you will have to get a tricycle from Burgos (Pagudpud tricycle drivers aren’t allowed to drive you around) and your driver will wait for you.

The price for last two activities are 300 PHP and they will discount from the cost of the tour 900 PHP. You will have to pay Cape Bojeador Lighthouse entrance fee 20 PHP if you access there!

Cape Bojeador Lighthouse

Cape Bojeador Lighthouse also known as Burgos Lighthouse is a cultural heritage structure in Burgos, Ilocos Norte that was established during the Spanish Colonial period in the Philippines.  

The lighthouse of Cape Bojeador serves shipping heading towards the Pacific Coast heading towards the Babuyan Channel, also serves ships heading towards the ports of Salomangue and Curmimao.

Cape Bojeador Lighthouse entrance fee of 20 PHP. You can visit as part of the South tour in Pagudpud after visiting the windmills.

Cape Bojeador Lighthouse was built in the Spanish time. The initial design of Cape Bojeador Lighthouse was by Magin Pers and Pers in 1887 and it was completed by Guillermo Brockman’s Lighthouse Service.

EVANGELINE BEACH RESORT

We had an amazing staying at Evangeline Beach Resort Our room was big enough for the three of us with all the comfort that we needed like hot water, fridge and yes good wifi connection. There is a pool area which was perfect for us since we were traveling with our little one 6 years old.

Just one minute walking distance from Saud beach and their restaurant with seaview. The food was delicious and all the staff was super friendly and helpful with us!

Kingfisher is a few kilometers far from Saud Beach. It’s located in the windest part of Asia so you will have the best opportunities if you like surfing and other watersports. Also great place for relaxing in the area with the hammocks. It’s quiet and ideal for disconnecting of the real world.
