Myanmar Sim Card

SIM CARD IN MYANMAR BACKGROUND

First thing we have to say about internet and data connection in Myanmar is really good in big cities you will have 4G and good wifi connection but not so good as Digital Nomads hubs like Thailand and Bali.

Only in a few remote places the connection can be intermittent like Bagan and Inle Lake but enough to catch up with work. If you are work online like us, the connection in Myanmar works good it has been improving a lot.

We could usually find stable internet connection and the data was very cheap, one of the cheapest that we found traveling around the world.

MYANMAR SIM CARD CONCLUSION

And if you ask me about Myanmar prepaid sim card conclusion. I would recommend you to buy Telenor or Ooreddo since they are the most reliable for data coverage. As the connection sometimes isn’t the best if you need data for work.

Maybe the best option is buying both of them to make sure you will always have reliable internet connection. This is what we always do in the Philippines when the connection isn’t really good to have better possibilities.

It was pretty easy reloading data in the local stores. If you prefer comfort you can always book online your Myanmar prepaid sim card or just purchasing in the airport.
