HOW TO GET FROM SILAY AIRPORT TO BACOLOD CITY

From Silay airport to Bacolod city you will take a 20-minute van, Grab or taxi ride that will take you to the heart of Bacolod City.

Silay airport to Bacolod City van fare is 150 PHP per person and it will drive you to SM in Bacolod City.

If you want to get from Cebu to Bacolod by bus. It will be the cheapest option. Cebu to Bacolod fare is 580 PHP and it’s included the Terminal Fee and the ferry ride.

The travel time with Ceres Bus Cebu to Bacolod will be around 8 hours included the ferry ride via San Salvador. You will have to get the bus in North Bus Terminal in Cebu City.

Cebu to Bacolod Ceres Schedule

There are a few buses going from Cebu to Bacolod during the whole day. Buses are running every 1-2 hours. They will from Cebu North Terminal and getting to Bacolod South Terminal.

From Mactan Airport to North Bus Terminal Cebu City

First of all you have to head to North bus terminal in Cebu City. To get North bus terminal from Mactan Cebu International airport can cost around 200 PHP by Grab or Uber.

You can go even cheaper if you decide to use public transportation like jeepneys but it will take longer. It can be very affordable by Grab if there are two of you and it will take 20-30 minutes depending on the traffic.

Cebu to Bacolod Ferry

There is no direct ferry from Cebu to Bacolod. You can go from Toledo to San Carlos or Tabuelan to Escalante. It would be the same route that do Ceres Cebu to Bacolod.

Lite Ferry Toledo to San Carlos

The travel time Cebu to Bacolod by ferry is 2 hours. There are daily ferries from 4 30 am first one to 9 pm last ferry. The ferries are running every 2-3 hours. Cebu to Bacolod ferry fare is 190 PHP (regular service) with Little Ferry.

FastCat Toledo to San Carlos

Cebu to Bacolod travel time is only one hour with FastCat. The first departure is at 3 am and the last ferry departure is at 7 pm. The ferries are running every 4 hours during the day. Cebu to Bacolod ferry fare is 235 PHP (regular service) with Fast Cat.

Cebu to Bacolod Flight or Bus?

Which option would you choose? Depending on your budget and time. In our opinion in you book online the flights with plenty of time and you go with hand luggage. You can get around 1000 PHP and avoid all the hassle.

If you travel by bus and ferry at night you can save one night of accommodation. But be ready for a long journey of 8-10 hours. And total price can be around 600 PHP.
