How to get to Nasugbu from Batangas by bus
We were coming from Anilao and we took to buses from Batangas to reach Nasugbu. It took us more than 3 hours to reach Nasugbu because when commuting buses took long time. Just ask the drivers and they will tell you where to stop to get next bus. They are passing by Santa Teresa on the way to Palico until Nasugbu.
Transportation around Nasugbu
From Nasugbu City proper, they have surprisingly no jeepneys going to various places. Since we were going to Pico de Loro is a very remote area, and only travelers usually go there. If you don’t have your own car, your choice is to ride a tricycle for Php 200 or $4. This will take about 20 -30 minutes.
Once you reach the property, you’ll have to take the shuttle which costs another P200. Make sure you have arranged this beforehand as complimentary service from Pico de Loro, of you can talk to their property reception as we did.

Getting a Massage
We tried the Signature Treatment herbal Polituce where they massage you with warm towels in Pico de Loro Club. We tried also the sauna and we felt so good plus the masseuses took care of our little one while we were enjoying our relax time.
We have to say that so far Rachel and me we have been trying great massages in Thailand, Cambodia, Bali and the Philippines and still the one in Pico de Loro is our favorite for both of us! So if you are going to Nasugbu pass by to Pico de Loro and treat yourself. It will be totally worth it!

Pico Sands Hotel has 2 restaurants where you can eat a variety of local food, Asian cuisine and Western dishes. Food in the hotel is definitely good. If it’s your first time visiting the Philippines, you will have the opportunity to taste local dishes. There is no other option that eating in the hotel or cooking by yourself if you are bringing your own food. Prices aren’t very expensive and the quality of the food is great at Pico de Loro!
Where to Stay in Nasugbu
Pico Sands Hotel
With the many hotels and guests houses we’ve already stayed in, by far Pico Sands Hotel has the best eye for details. We were traveling with a child, and right in our room, they prepared small gifts (toys for the beach and stuffed animals).
Around the hotel you have the views of the pool, the big lagoon, the condominiums and the very beautiful scenery in the middle. We spent time with the ducks, played in the bridge, and had so much fun walking around so much greenery.
