What is an eSIM

We’ve written about eSIMs extensively in our blog, but of course, we’ll still explain here what an eSIM is. In the simplest explanation, eSIMs are embedded sim cards or virtual sim cards that can work with your phone, while you’re using your original physical sim. Your phone will basically be able to use two sims, however, an eSIM is not a physical card you’ll need to insert into your phone.

eSIMs are usually set up on compatible phones, allowing you to get a data plan, using your eSIM’s connectivity.

The biggest reason people use eSIMs right now is to have better options for data plan connectivity, usually allowing you to get data/internet cheaper than your home sim’s data roaming services. The latter tends to be very expensive. eSIMs are better options when traveling in other countries.

Nomad eSIM Data Plan Pricing

Airalo vs Nomad: Which eSIM is the Best Choice, Nomad eSIM Review , Nomad Discount Code GAMINOMAD

Nomad’s eSIM prices will depend on the destination you’ll travel to and the data plan you choose. You can find data plans from 7 days to 30 days, with availability from 1 GB to 30 GB. However, plans specifics tend to vary by country.

Likewise, the different eSIM plans can range from $7 to $30 when they are for a single country. Prices for Europe are so competitive that you can get a Nomad eSIM for $5 USD with 1 GB data valid for 7 days.

And if you want data packages for 30 days Nomad eSIM offers the best prices around $26 USD to get 10 GB data for traveling in Europe cheaper than Airalo eSIM main competitors.

For example, for the Nomad eSIM data for the United States, you can get a data plan for the following prices: $7 for 1 GB, with a 7-day expiry, and $14 for 4 GB, $17 for 5 GB, $20 for 7 GB, $26 for 12 GB, and $30 for 10 GB (the United States Value Pack Data Plan), all with a 30-day expiry.

You can also top up your data plan with the same prices (except for the $30 plan). We wish Nomad eSIM can offer unlimited data packages for competitive prices as Holafly eSIM’s where you can have unlimited data for $2 USD per day traveling in Europe and the United States.
