BEST TIME TO VISIT GUIMARAS ISLAND
Guimaras is located in Visayas Region. The best time to visit Guimaras island is from December to May, which is the dry season and it’s also the best time to visit Guimaras tourist spots and have Guimaras Island tours. The remaining months vary from light rains to thunderstorms, so it’s always best to plan your trip along those dry months.

GUIMARAS RESORTS: NUEVA VALENCIA AREA
We chose to stay in Alubihod Beach since the beach is so beautiful and the Guimaras Island tour was starting from this area in Guimaras Island. The prices are a little bit more expensive than other areas in the island. If you look for Guimaras resorts on a budget, the cheapest room that you can find around Alubihod Beach will be around 1500 PHP.
1. JANNAH GLYCEL BEACH HOUSE
We stayed at Jannah Glycel Beach House where they have their own private beach. They have Wifi connection in the reception and the restaurant but not in the rooms. There is still data works inside. They organize Guimaras Island tours and prices are the same in the other resorts in Alubihod Beach. The cheapest room for one-night stay costs as low as $24 USD.

2. SUNSEA RESORT
SunSea Resort has a restaurant, free bikes, an outdoor swimming pool and bar in Guimaras. SunSea Resort also has a garden and a private beach area.
Complete with a private bathroom equipped with a bidet and free toiletries, all rooms at the resort have a flat-screen TV and air conditioning.

6. KENYAMA BEACH RESORT
Kenyama Beach Resort in Guimaras that’s near to Guisi Lighthouse, just 320 meters away. What guests love about this place is that it’s near to the beach. In fact, some rooms have beach views and they also organize island hopping tours. According to the guests, the staff of Kenyama Beach Resort are also accommodating and friendly.
You’ll also love the food served at the resort, which are mostly Filipino food. All of their rooms are air conditioned and has free toiletries for their guests. You can book a room for as low as $27 USD.

7. CZECH BEACH HOUSE ADULTS ONLY

8. LARA’S GUEST HOUSE
Lara’s Guest House is a villa-type accommodation in Guimaras Island that is good for a group. In fact, maximum of 13 people can stay here for just $68 USD. The whole villa has 2 bedrooms with 1 twin bed each, in the living room, there are 4 sofa beds. Not only that, you’ll also be able to use both of the indoor and outdoor kitchen and dining areas. You can also use the grill for barbecuing and the drying rack for drying your clothes.
There are also some appliances that you can use for entertainment, basically everything in the villa can be used by guests as long as they’ll use it carefully. Lara’s Guest House is a simple villa that will give you a typical Filipino provincial life and a chance to connect with nature.

9. ANDANA RESORT GUIMARAS
Last place to stay at in Guimaras Island specifically in Nueva Valencia area is Andana Resort Guimaras. It offers luxurious and comfortable rooms for not-that-high prices! In fact, you can book a room for as low as $73 USD, which already includes a one-night stay in an air conditioned room with free Wifi, telephone, TV, toiletries, and more. Not just that, Andana Resort Guimaras has its own private resort and swimming pool.
They also offer water recreational activities and airport transfer for a price. If you get hungry, just go to the restaurant which offers great variety of food. Their guests love the hospitality of their staff as well as the cleanliness of the rooms and facilities. One of the best in the list of resorts in Guimaras.

SAN LORENZO AREA
San Lorenzo is a municipality in Guimaras Island famous for its wind farms or windmill farms. These wind farms provide energy to the place and it also acts as a tourism boost to the island. There isn’t too many resorst to stay at in San Lorenzo Area that can be found online but here are two that we found.
10. THE CLARA BEACH
The Clara Beach is a beach resort in Guimaras that offers a great experience to their guests because of the recreational activities you can do here. For just as low as $7 USD, you’ll enjoy their private beach and outdoor pool. Most of their affordable rooms are simple but can give you a comfortable sleep. They offer more comfortable rooms with private bathroom and air conditioning but expect to pay more.
The Clara Beach also has its own coffee shop and restaurant serving mostly Filipino food which you’ll love! The guests love the hospitality of the staff, the cleanliness of the rooms, and comfort plus facilities of The Clara Beach.

Lastly, Playa de Paraiso Resort is another option for places where to stay in Guimaras Island. Like the one above, it also has a private beach and outdoor pool. This resort just offers more comfort for their guests but also pricier. You can book a room for one-night stay for as low as $37 USD. Most of their rooms are air conditioned and has a free Wi-fi connection and TV, but not all.
Some also has views to the sea or the pool. If you get hungry, don’t worry because they have a restaurant where you can order some food. The guests love the service of their staff, as well as the airport transfer you can avail for another charge. One of the most beautiful resorts in Guimaras this one!
