Salagdoong Beach Siquijor (Travel Guide)

Salagdoong Beach is one of the most popular Siquijor tourist spots. It’s located in Northeast part of Siquijor Island. And you will be able to enjoy swimming, snorkeling, taking pictures and cliff jumping. After visiting Salagdoon Beach you can go to Cambugahay Falls and Paliton Beach.

How to get to Salagdoong Beach

Salagdoong beach is located in Maria town. To get from San Juan to Salagdoong beach resort is 35 Km far and 1 hour driving. If you are going from Larena Port to Salagdoong beach resort is 20 kilometers and 30 minutes driving.

If you from from Lazi to Salagdoong beach is 16 kilometers and 30 minutes driving and from Siquijor Port to Salagdoong beach is 25 kilometers and 45 minutes driving.

The best way to get to Salagdoong beach is renting a motorbike for 400 PHP the whole day. If you aren’t confident or you are traveling with a few people you can get a tricycle as we did Rachel, Han and me to get there.

SALAGDOONG BEACH

Salagdoong beach is so beautiful and you can enjoy two beaches the water is so beautiful and we took nice shots with our drone and enjoyed a nice swim too. You can stay at the beach or renting a cottage as you prefer.

Salagdoong Beach has a cliff jumping you have to make sure is high tide since there are 5 meters high to the water. But no worries because the staff will be managing.

I would recommend to stay 2 hours in relaxing, snorkeling, cliff jumping and swimming. If you can get there first thing in the morning will be the best option since it can be crowded during the day. After this we headed to Cambugahay Falls around 20-30 minutes driving from here.

Salagdoong Beach Entrance Fee And Schedule

Salagdoong Beach entrance fee is 30 PHP and 20 PHP for parking the motorbike. Prices for renting cottages for a day can go from 200-500 PHP. You can also have lunch in the restaurant and even stay in Salagdoong Beach Resort.

Prices of the restaurant is expensive and you can expect to pay 200-400 PHP for a dish depending on your order. And you can stay overnight in the resort if you wish. Salagdoong Beach schedule is from 8 am to 10 pm. Around 6 pm will get dark and it’s only worth it for dinner.

MARIA TOWN

Maria town is the perfect place for relaxing in Siquijor. It’s one of the most remote areas to stay in Siquijor. You will be very close to one of the hightlights in the island Salagdoong beach.
