BEST TIME TO VISIT PALAWAN

This island destination in the Philippines is best enjoyed during the dry season. During this time, visitors can go on different tours, swim in the beautiful waters and enjoy the sun in Palawan. The best time to visit Palawan is around October to June since the rain usually falls in the middle of the year. However, Palawan’s wet season does not have typhoons that directly hit the island so going on those months might still be fun.

Just make sure to always bring your sunblock, especially when you’re planning to spend all day under the sun. Keep cool with some coconut juice, too!

Palawan Beaches: Best Beaches in Palawan

1. BEACHES IN PORT BARTON

Itatay Beach is the main beach in Port Barton and it’s quiet most of the day. You can relax around the beach, swimming, get a drink or grab some food in the restaurants in the resorts. If you prefer more active plans you can rent a boat and going around or just rent a kayak.

Sunsets in Itatay Beach the main beach in Port Barton are amazing. You can enjoy the sunset with a beer, juice, a fresh coconut.  We did mostly taking pictures and swimming in the sunsets. For us Port Barton are our favorite sunsets in the Philippines.

2. GERMAN ISLAND

German Island is the highlight in the island hopping in Port Barton. There is an entrance fee 100 PHP to visit German Island located in front of the turtle spot. You can also stay for lunch. The island is so beautiful with blue water around. You can play volleyball or relax with the swing. There is a bathroom for more comfort.

3. LONG BEACH IN SAN VICENTE

Long Beach is divided in 3 parts. Long Beach 1 close to San Vicente Palawan town where we were staying. At Part 2 there are luxury resorts and Part 3 is Alimanguan Beach. The best way to move around is with a motorbike or with the tricycle. You can go walking from San Vicente Palawan to part 1 but it will be far for moving around to the other parts. The beach is calm and quiet. And we loved it is full of palm trees!

BEACHES IN PUERTO PRINCESA

4. NAGTABON BEACH

Nagtabon Beach is really a charmer because it is not famous yet, although soon, it will be. Also, you could surf on Nagtabon. You’ll also love the crystal clear water that’s also really loved by tourists. You can visit Nagtabon Beach if you are staying in Puerto Princesa just a few kilometers far from the city.

BEACHES IN BALABAC

5. PATAWAN BEACH

It was our first stop in the island hopping in Balabac is one hour far from Buliluyan port and one of the most beautiful place in Balabac. Sorry guys but it was windy and we couldn’t fly the drone to show you pictures from above.

6. KANIBUNGAN BEACH

Kanibungan Beach was one of our favorite places to visit and enjoy swimming, flying the drone and taking pictures. Blue water and transparent. Great for snorkeling, calm and relax island.

7. TANGKAHAN ISLAND

Our last stop in Balabac was Tangkahan Island so beautiful with perfect weather was a perfect place to say goodbye. Great drone pictures, clear water for snorkeling and quiet place to stay.

BEACHES IN EL NIDO

8. LAS CABANAS

Don’t forget to visit Las Cabanas Beach! The views are so breathtaking! You will also love how beautiful the sunset is in Las Cabanas. There are bars and it´s perfect for enjoying a beer. There are a lot of accommodations around if you prefer to stay here instead of El Nido town. From our list of Palawan beaches can be the best for the sunset.

9. NACPAN BEACH

Nacpan is a really long beach in El Nido with clear blue waters you’ll surely love! It may not be included in the tours but you can reach it by private boats or by motorbike and van. Travelers also love to play beach volleyball and soccer in this beautiful beach. There is an entrance fee to go to Nacpan Beach, around 30 pesos! It’s not crowded one of the quietest Palawan beaches. And you will find yourself more relax than around El Nido.

10. HIDDEN BEACH

Hidden Beach is part of the Tour C and you have to look for the beach behind the limestone. It’s a beautiful beach with clear but it’s too crowded since it’s not very big. Make sure you bring your dry bag if you want to take pictures. You will have to swim to reach the beach since the boats can’t access to it.

 11. PINAGBUYUTAN ISLAND

Pinagbuyutan Island is one of our favorite El Nido tourist spots. It’s part of Tour B and its great for snorkeling, swimming and walk around. It’s usually quiet and we find the island perfect for taking pictures and flying the drone. One of the best beaches in El Nido since most of the times is calm and quiet.

12. PARADISE BEACH

This was our lunch stop area. It was a chill, quiet place where we felt like it was our own little island. We loved the service in the tour companies in El Nido. The guides will prepare you an amazing lunch and they will make sure you have all the comfort in the island, shades and all the things that you need. The water is so clear!

13. DITAYTAYAN ISLAND

Ditaytayan Island is an amazing sand bar is more than an hour boat ride from Coron. You can visit in a tour also expedition tours are visiting as we did. We enjoyed the island almost for ourselves flying the drone. You can also swim in the clear waters. Entrance fee 150 PHP. We enjoyed one of the best beaches in Coron for ourselves with nobody else around.

14. DUMUNPALIT ISLAND

Dumunpalit Island is one of the best islands that we have ever seen. It’s almost not getting tourists yet. You have to go to Maricaban port by motorbike, tricycle or van. From there you can get a boat 1 hour and 30 minutes to Dumunpalit Island. The boat costs 3000 PHP and the entrance fee is 200 PHP per person. The water is so clear and you can stay overnight if you are bringing a tent. In our list of best beaches in Palawan could be Top 1 easily.

15. MALCAPUYA ISLAND

Malcapuya Island is a paradise island where you would love to relax. You can get here as a part of the tour or on your own private boat. It will take 1 hour and 30 minutes. You can stay overnight, there are a few tours offering sleeping in a bamboo hut. Entrance fee is 250 PHP.
