Mykonos accepts around 2 million tourists every summer. Some of them have already been to Mykonos before and they have become the island’s faithful fans. If you ask them why they choose Mykonos for their summer vacations they will answer: “Because Mykonos has it all!”

It is true that this Cycladic island can offer you everything you may need for the most dreamy vacations: luxury villas and resorts, vibrant nightlife, awesome gourmet restaurants, the most colorful sunsets, idyllic landscapes, sandy beaches and turquoise waters.

Luxury accommodation

The best accommodation in Mykonos and the one that celebrities usually choose is a luxury villa. For a few days, rent a Mykonos Villa which will be your perfect summer house. They have big rooms, nice gardens, swimming pools and all the amenities you may wish for. You can hire private staff – like a chef who will prepare your favorite meals at the villa’s fully equipped kitchen or a driver with a limousine who will take you to the best places on the island.

Crazy parties

Having fun is the top priority in Mykonos. And what would be better than participating in the famous, wild Mykonian parties?

You will find them easily and everywhere: from the party beaches to Mykonos Town or even in private villas. Big night clubs hold a lot of events, their DJs are among the most famous ones – Greek or international – and their signature cocktails are fantastic.

Be prepared for an all night long experience and get a good day’s rest. Wild parties in Mykonos end only when the sun comes up.

Amazing food

Mykonos is the place where dining has become an art and this is the reason you will find so many famous chefs in such a small area. You can taste dishes from all over the world, you can enjoy the lavish atmosphere of some of the best gourmet restaurants or you can have the freshest fish and seafood traditionally cooked in the local taverns.

At most gourmet restaurants you will find an incredible wine and champagne list. It is a good opportunity to try some rare labels and the chef will help you choose the perfect one to accompany your meal.

Fantastic weather all year long

The island of Mykonos is commonly referred to as “the island of winds”. Due to the geographical location of Mykonos, in summer Meltemi wind blows from the north and hits the north side of the island. Meltemi is actually a blessing for the Greek islands, because it keeps the temperature lower than the mainland. During the warmer months of July and August, temperatures in the mainland can easily reach 40-43 degrees Celsius, while in Mykonos the temperatures are 5-6 degrees lower.

Like most of the Greek islands, Mykonos has a humid climate during the winter due to the sea but rains are rare and the sun shines 300 days a year. Winter temperatures are on average between 8-12 degrees Celsius. In spring and autumn the temperatures are very mild with an average of 20-25 degrees Celsius, making Mykonos a perfect destination for travelers who want to avoid very hot weather.

Impeccable views

Make sure you take a good camera with you because you will find out Mykonos has a lot of beautiful landscapes and views to take nice photos!

Little Venice, the Windmills, the virgin beaches, the endless blue Ocean – are only some of the most photographed spots in Mykonos. Don’t miss the sunset as the Cycladic sunset is famous to the world. If you rent a villa, make sure it has the right orientation so that you can enjoy the fabulous views to the sea, the sunset and the beach from your balcony.

Crystal-clear waters in every single beach

Mykonos has beaches of any kind – organized or virgin, sandy or pebbled, crowded or remote, calm or windy. But they all have one thing in common: their clean, transparent waters.

The sea all around the island is perfect for swimming, snorkeling or diving.
