The Philippines is our favorite when traveling together because the country is full of immensely beautiful landscapes and seascapes. There is a way to travel for everyone in this country, and as we call Philippines our home, we decided to host an 8-day travel retreat where we can travel with 10 of you, and bring you to some of the most beautiful islands of the country.
It’s really quite hard not to be impressed with Palawan’s beauty, even if we’ve visited a few times now. We haven’t even flown our drone yet in the islands plus there’s so much more to visit that we ourselves can’t wait to go back.
In our 8 day Philippine travel in the end of 2019, we’ll explore together, take photos and videos together, get a chance to learn about the country and find out how you can use travel as a way to build your next travel working lifestyle.
What’s included in the trip:
- All accommodations during the whole trip
- All the inland and island hopping tours and transport during the whole trip together
- All breakfasts for the whole trips, meals during the island hops, and 2-3 dinners (including the welcome dinner)
- Required gears during island hops like the life vests and snorkeling masks
What’s not included:
- Flights to and from the Philippines

- Additional kayaks and boat trips outside the included trips and tours

The following will be the itinerary in the 8-day Palawan trip in the Philippines:
8-day Palawan trip
1st Day: Puerto Princesa
Puerto Princesa is the capital of Palawan and we’ll meet here for a welcome dinner. We’ll be spending a week together so it’d be great for all of us to get acquainted and to relax as we prepare for the next days of swimming and island hops
2nd Day: Puerto Princesa
We’ll do a day tour to the Underground River, a Unesco Site. It’s a two hour trip by van and we have to wake up early for the tour. After that, we’ll have time to reach Port Barton for sunset time
Sunsets in Port Barton are breathtaking and we’ll prepare to sleep in the island.
3rd day: Port Barton
We believe that the island hopping in Port Barton is some of the best in Palawan, and sometimes even better than El Nido! Snorkelling is the best here, and we’ve seen some of the bluest waters in Palawan here in Port Barton. We’ll have ample time to snorkel with turtles and fishes, and stop by white sandy beaches to get all the tanning you need!
4th day: Port Barton and El Nido
We’ll go to El Nido and catch the amazing sunset in Las Cabanas (Ziplining in Las Cabanas could be an option). Las Cabanas is one of the most popular places for sunset in El Nido so it’s a good place ot just relax, have a few drinks and just watch the beautiful sea scapes and enjoy the evening.
We’ll stay in El Nido for the night to prepare for next day’s island hops.
5th day: El Nido
El Nido is very popular for its huge limestones, the lagoon trips, the very beautiful boat tours, and of course, some of the most amazing water and sea scapes so this is definitely one of the highlights of the trip. We’ll do a mix of the best island hops in El Nido and a possible party boat option while we’re doing the island hops.
6th day: El Nido
Apart from the popular El Nido island hopping, there are actually inland tours in El Nido and another beach that is very beautiful. We’ll visit Nacpan Beach, and do a few more island hops and other inland activities, plus we’ll experience some of the local life as we spend time together talking about blogging, travel life, the digital nomad lifestyle, and we’ll help you answer all your questions and decide if it’s for you or not!
7th day: El Nido and Coron
We’ll say goodbye to El Nido, and visit Coron first thing in the morning. We’ll visit the island for some beach and island hops, hike to Mount Tapyas for sunset, and visit the hot springs in the evening.
8th day: Coron
Coron’s underwater is one of the best with the shipwrecks for the free diving and other diving activities, the amazing underwater sea creatures, and of course the island hops. We’ll spend the whole day visiting Coron’s best and finish the trip with a goodbye dinner.
